That is something I ask all my prey..." Helloooooooooooooo Dear readers and writers, My name is Genesis Delacroix ( The Beginning of The Cross) . Nota bene that is not my real last name, simply my writer name. "It's not about the money, it's about sending a message..." I will just briefly write of the cards that I had been dealt throughout the years. "Some are born mad. Some remain so." I am a prisoner of Depression, Post Traumatic Stress, Anxiety, and Insomnia. I have taken anti-depressants, anti-psychotics and sleeping medication. I've been molested, beaten, emotionally, mentally, and physically abused. What I'm trying to say is that, I've been through the ringer. There are many disturbing things that happened in my life but I will come up to you with a big smile, shake your hand and I will laugh, I will joke, and if you want me to I will sing. Not for one second will I have you think that I've been through any of that. Do Not settle for less under any circumstances. "For me, insanity is super sanity. The normal is psychotic. Normal means lack of imagination, lack of creativity." As for my writing, I have left my previous stories up for other's entertainment because those stories are beyond hiatus. I was young when I started them and I just can't see myself finishing them. My recent story was a story that I've been slowly working on since The Dark Knight came out. I might have to revise the chapters that are already up because I have a new angle on where I want to take it. The whole plot of the story is based around a psychological phenomenon. It starts off as a Pre - Joker story and will have many POVs. It will show the transition of the Joker as well as the victim. This psychological phenomenon is seen in cases of kidnapping where the hostages seem to develop a type of bond with their captors. Bonds going as far as to falling in love or even dependence. This psychological term goes by... Stockholm Syndrome “Don’t talk like one of them, you’re not! Even if you’d like to be. To them, you’re just a freak–like me. They need you right now. When they don’t…they’ll cast you out. Like a leper. See, their morals, their code: it’s a bad joke. They’re dropped at the first sign of trouble. They’re only as good as the world allows them to be. You’ll see, when the chips are down these civilized people will eat each other. Ya see I’m not a monster, I was just ahead of the curve.” |
