Luke is captured by Imperials while on a mission and ends up needing his father's help getting out of a tricky situation. What follows is shameless Luke and Vader father-son bonding, with plenty of action, angst, and fluff, as Vader finally has his son at his side and plots to destroy the Emperor. Post ESB AU with canon divergence. Not Dark!Luke.

An incident in the shuttle taking Vader and Luke to the second Death Star will make the Sith Lord rethink his allegiance to the Dark Side.

After his conversation with Obi-Wan's spirit on Dagobah in ROTJ, Luke is thrown back in time right in the middle of ROTS, days before his father's turn. Stuck in Padme's apartment, he struggles to figure out the reason that brought him there.

"Let's pretend," she said suddenly. "Let's pretend that for one night, for one moment, neither of us is who we are. Let's say...I'm a daring smuggler off the southern rim, and you…" She looked at him. "Who will you be?" AU V/P. NOW COMPLETE with epilogue.
