Poll: Rastaban's Wand - what do you make of it? Vote Now! |
![]() Author has written 25 stories for Harry Potter, and Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei. I'm 21, and an avid Harry Potter fan (though the character himself is nowhere near my top list of Potter characters). I'm currently in college, which cuts down on my writing time, so I try to squeeze out every ounce of creativity I can into each and every chapter to ensure that I'm giving it my all. My current work is titled "Seven Years", vague so as not to give much away at first sight (It has also probably contributed to people passing over it). No matter. I consider it as an extended foray into the mind of a psychopath in his early years and the development of that psychopath into a truly dangerous individual. I like that kind of stuff. My other current work, "Rastaban Slytherin: The Son of the Serpent" is a project dealing with the last three heirs to the Black family (Scorpius Malfoy is of minor importance, but he's so darn cute at four years old), in a slightly AU story where Bella tricked Voldemort into conceiving a child with her during the seventh book. The story focuses on this child, though Teddy Lupin is a prominent character as well. I have finally finished my four-part series of oneshots dealing with each Founder of Hogwarts. A Founder's Lament, A Founder's Torment, A Founder's Content, and A Founder's Regret are all finished, and I couldn't be more pleased with them. A Founder's Torment and A Founder's Content, in particular, generated a really strong response from one of my friends when she read it. On the other fics I've written, my thoughts/summary: Dark Lady: my first serious oneshot, and just an experiment in the mind of a young Bellatrix. The Next Great Adventure: the way I envision the Dark Lord's afterlife. Flashback: I always wanted to expand on Hagrid's life experiences, and though this an appropriate way to do so They Called Me Master: A look, from Lord Voldemort's perspective, on his life up until the moment of death. I wrote it a while back and waited for chapter 14 of Seven Years before putting it up, due to a reference to that chapter. To Love Is To Hurt: a twoshot about the confrontation between Dumbledore and Grindelwald in 1945. I rather enjoyed the change in characters and setting, and found it refreshing to write this. I Have Seen Your Heart, And It Is Mine: Oneshot recollection of Dumbledore finding the ring Horcrux. Written in a fit of study-avoidance. Breaking the Curse: Oneshot about Bill telling his family about his plans to go to Egypt. Evolution: The trial of the Malfoy family and the story of the beginning of their redemption Lady Death: Bellatrix Lestrange's journey into death, and the impossible decision she must make in order to go on. Unwanted Fate: Snape's ruminations on Hogwarts under his care. Despair: A poem that came to me last night while thinking of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei Secrets of the Darkest Art: I finished it, and it is now being put up here. The textbook source for all things Horcrux, written in as close to Middle English as would allow for understandability. First Time for the Prince: A look at Snape earning his Dark Mark. I Sort of Miss Voldemort, I Reckon Maybe: Harry celebrates being made Head Auror, but he misses having an embodiment of what he's to fight against. Can Ron cheer him up? Failure: I wrote this after failing my first road test. It's about Charlie failing his first Apparition test. Made me feel better. The Chamber: I sort of forgot about it then found it. A little bit about the finishing of Slytherin's masterpiece - the Chamber of Secrets. Drinking with the Weasleys: Fred and George, out for a drink for Fred's birthday. Wait, what? Fred's birthday? Read it and understand. Raising Fred: this story has not been put to the site yet. However, I am working on the finishing touches to it Death Eater Christmas: this story has not been put to the site yet. However, I am working on the finishing touches to it I appreciate reviews, though I am not hung up on receiving them. It's nice to know what you guys think, and I thank everyone who has ever reviewed any of my stories. I do reply to questions and such, so if there's something burning in your mind, please do ask. I don't really do Author's notes very often, mostly because I answer any questions posed in intelligent reviews in my reply to those reviews. I do occasionally include one, but so far that seems limited to an apology for a bad song and an apology for lack of updates. | |||||||
