I've had enough.

Throughout my time on fanfiction.net, I've gotten plenty of constructive criticism, grown in my writing skills, and have made three good friends. I remember the good times, when posting thoughtful, creative stories was actually encouraged. But those days are gone.

As time went on, the administration of this site has become, to put it frankly, anal. Of the six stories I posted on this site, five have been removed for "violation of their terms of service." The final story left standing I have myself removed today. Just because you've mentioned the name of another author in your story, just because you've asked for constructive criticism in a post script of your chapter, just because someone found something you wrote not politically correct, you should not squelch the freedom of speech.

With that said, I am officially retiring from fanfiction.net, and have no intent on ever returning, be it to post, read someone else's story, or otherwise. This Nazi-esque behavior is going to far, and it's time people sat up and let their voices be heard.
