My Personal Philosophy:

I am sarcastic beyond belief, and if you truly want to earn my respect then don't back down in an argument with me. One of the biggest reasons I am the way I am is because when I was younger I was used a lot by my so called "Friends". So, I am sarcastic to everyone and only the few who actually stick around afterwards can be considered people who actually care.

Quotes are a hobby that make my life complete. I guess I love them so much because they are still remembered even if they speaker has long since forgotten. Most say "actions speak louder than words" but words give meaning to somebody's actions. I want to be remembered for saying something remarkable that lasts more than just a lifetime.

"You can't choose your family" is a false statement if there ever was one. The truth is you can't choose who you are related to, but that doesn't mean they are family. I can honestly say that my uncle by blood means nothing to me, while my surrogate uncle has always been around and means everything to me. A lot of people have asked me why I call my surrogate grandmother my Aunt, and they only reply I can ever think to give is "Who care, it's too complicated to explain."

I read to make an escape from the world, same reason that I love music so much. It takes you to another place, where for once somebody else's problems are worse than your own. Then, if even for a moment, you can focus on how the main character is going to fix their problems or mend their broken hearts. It's comforting to know that there is a world out there that you get to envision, when you close your eyes you can see the setting that the author wishes to portray. Maybe you even change it a little. A story is so great because it effects each person differently in ways unimaginable.

If I was to have any goal as a writer, it is to change a person's way of thinking. Even if it's just one person, I want to make a difference to him or her. After that, I don't care, the rest of the world doesn't have to pay my word any mind, as long as just one person pays attention. Maybe even this short glimpse of my thoughts can do it. If so, tell me, I beg of you. I just feel the need to be important to one person.
