Author has written 7 stories for Mass Effect, Half-Life, Naruto, Misc. Games, Life is Strange, and Warcraft. [Insert Something Appropriate.] Who knows? Who the hell am I and what the hell am I doing here? Age: 18 Years Old Occupation: College Student & Some Computer-Involved Stuff. Past-Times/Hobbies: Mainly video games, however writing is also one of my passions. WHY DO YOU HAVE SO FEW STUFF ON HERE IF YOUR PASSION IS WRITING: I used to do fanfics on deviant art when I was like 13-14 years old and got unmotivated. I do a lot more roleplaying than actual writing, but I do love doing writing, it's just a matter of finding inspiration and having people actually want to read it. So, I might be around here, I might not, who knows. I've been writing since I was like four or five years old just for fun. Stories have always interested me, as well as playing with the english language in such a way that it causes emotion and sentiment. I like to make words flow to convey messages and emotion. So, I take writing rather seriously, which is why I generally don't enjoy the sillier side to fanfictions and only really pay attention to the serious, really well written ones (sounds a bit pretentious, but too bad)--there's a couple of authors around that I have huge respect for. My favorite authors are Stephen King and George R.R Martin. The Dark Tower & Game of Thrones are the two best book series ever written, and their writing styles (and the writing itself) are sort of my 'idolized' writing. They're absolutely brilliant authors, and I hope to be as good if not better than them at it some day. If you really want to, you can catch me on Steam under the name 'Something Appropriate', or you can just search for 'Rakaesa' on skype pretty easily. If I know your name from reviews or something I'll probably accept, but be warned: I wont keep friends on my skype list if I don't like em'. Nothing personal, y'know, I just don't want to start fights or anything of the sort. Anyway, I write based on what comes from my heart. I let my subconscious and heart guide me part of the way. Sometimes I don't know exactly where a story is going or how it will end until I get there, but I always put meaning into what I write. Feel free to give me feedback! |
