![]() Author has written 37 stories for Monk, StarTrek: Voyager, Invisible Man, Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist, Psych, Quantum Leap, Ironman, Avengers, and How to Train Your Dragon. UPDATE: 01.11.19 Believe it or not, I'm still on and off poking away at my HTTYD fanfic. I have two-ish chapters but got a little bogged down. I'd like to finish it but other stories are currently more interesting to me. While most of my work is posted either at Psychfic or AO3 I'll continue adding completed works here. If you'd like to see some more of my writing, please visit my profile at either of those other two accounts. I use the same user name everywhere so I'm easy to find. :) UPDATE: 07.24.16 I've recently gone head over heels for the "How to Train Your Dragon" fandom. I've started a story and am really excited about it - though I don't have a schedule for when it will be posted. Currently it is untitled. But keep an eye out - hopefully I'll have something for you soon! UPDATE: 07.01.16 It's been 3 years since I last visited this archive. Since that time I've been doing a LOT of writing on other sites for a lot of fandoms. I've had a lot of frustration with FFN but I'm giving it another try. I'll be adding a selection of my completed stories here and I really hope you enjoy my work! Page updated: Dec. 2014 Psych is easily the most all-encompassing fandom I've ever had the delight to be a part of. Even with the series now at its end as regular series (we still remain hopeful for TV movies!) the passion for these characters has not waned! I'm not sure I'll ever grow tired of writing for Psych. Psych-related projects: Since 2013, I have taken over control of managing the annual Psychfic awards. I am head of the committee and I create the awards banners and update pineapple awards icons. Visit the Psychfic Awards on LiveJournal! Follow the Psych VS Twitter for updates and news As of 2014, I have initiated a new Psychfic Virtual Seasons which picks up immediately after the final aired episode. Please send me an email or private message if you would like to participate as an episode writer. Writers must be members of Psychfic and have a high degree of writing aptitude in order to qualify. I am the founder of S.W.A.T. (Shawn Whumpers Appreciation Troop) Follow the Fanfic & Fanart Hub on Tumblr for art and fanfic links! Older History: I've been writing, if you want to be technical, since I was six years old. My first efforts were usually four page, stapled together picture stories about animals. I could easily drift far and wide into imagination land with my favorite characters- up to creating a whole world where I existed with them as one of their friends. At the time, I had these stories in my head only- and it wasn't until my teen years that they began to appear on paper. My first fanfic, if I remember correctly, was Star Trek. I don't really remember what it was about- and I think I deleted it fairly quickly. Keep in mind, I didn't have my own computer, so all my efforts were saved to a floppy disk. (yes, ancient, I know!) My first posted piece was an X Files story. Again, I don't remember what I wrote... though this is likely for the best. I slowly began writing more and more. The first series that really catapulted me into fanatic was Monk. I actually joined a group- created a page- and corresponded daily with other fans. This lasted about a year or two. As it was, there was no unified gathering spot. People appeared randomly before being swallowed up once more by other interests. I eventually quit writing for the series completely. I grew interested in anime in the meantime- dabbling with a few stories here and there. I met a like minded woman after posting one of my longer stories. She liked my work, and invited me to join her writing group called Crackbunny Syndrome. Along with two other people, they'd begun writing a story that was slowly growing from a minor bit of fun into something far, far more than ever could have been anticipated. The story can be found here: (on going) Balance of Power It was during the second season of Psych that I first discovered Psychfic. Having only had an on and off interest in the series prior to this, my interest suddenly skyrocketed when I began reading the fanfic that was being posted here. Previously, the only fic I knew of was the material on fanfic.net. Discovering this community was simply the most fabulous online experience I've had to date. Suddenly I was in love with the show!! Going back to watch episodes I'd missed, I wondered how I could ever have let myself miss a single one! It wasn't long before I began writing fanfic. I haven't stopped since. To find more of my stories, please visit Psychfic and AO3 For fans of my Fury story, you can find the entire series here |
