So the basic facts, huh?

I share a name with one very famous writer, I live somewhere across Europe, all alone, and I used to be glued to the TV screen for "Lost". I don't watch very much television otherwise and I certainly don't obsess about other fictional characters like I do about Jack. There's a fair supply of cheese and Chardonnay in my fridge, and I jump work fields and dress sizes at a pace I cannot keep up with. Do you think I qualify as a Bridget Jones incarnation? ;) It's not all that funny, I'm telling you, and there's many more Daniels around than Marks.

If you've been brought here by my Jack and Kate stories... I used to be an avid shipper. But I went through disappointment, annoyance and eventually indifference about Kate's character, so I've long stopped shipping the pairing. This means that I may never write anything centered on the two again. I realize that most of you who read my stories have been the pairing fans and I apologize to anyone who's disappointed with my loss of interest for shipping, because I realize that's been the main attraction in my stories. I will probably not continue the stories on Jack and Kate, but those out there are staying out there, no worries. :) Also, since my lurf for Dr. Jack has never changed, I've been writing stories centered on him and I hope to post them some time. If I go and comment on your Jack and Kate story, it's because I love your writing and I appreciate your version of Kate (as opposed to the canon one).

If you've been brought here by my Not!Jack series, good for you! :) I strongly encourage fantasizing and exploration, we would all benefit as a society if we freed ourselves from repression and if a woman's right to her own body to do with as she pleases without fear, shame or guilt is returned to her. I strongly advocate that.

I enjoy writing and story telling and playing with words to create various emotions but really don't have much of an ambition to publish something or whatever. I write more for therapeutic reasons, I guess you can call it that, and because I'm addicted to getting stuck in my imaginary alternate universes to hide from the real thing. :) That probably makes me a pathetic hack. :) All reviews are appreciated though, and I'll do my best to grow as an author, since it wouldn't make much sense to write when no one is reading, right?
