Bonjour, hola, and hello!

I'm young married woman with a passion for the sciences, great media, and great beer! Combination of those things not recommended. My current obsessions are Bioware games old and new and well written, mature fan fiction relating to them. I am a complete and utter geek and damn proud, too!

I love great books that try to keep a basis in actual sciences (as practiced at the time of writing of course), and of well written fantasy, fiction, and non-fiction as well. Some of my all time favorites for books and authors: The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillion, The Dragon Riders of Pern series, the work or Sheri S. Tepper, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, most of the Dune series (where Brian takes over it loses something, sadly), R.A. Salvatore and his Dark Elf books, Orson Scott Card (preachy, but solid none the less), Mercedes Lakey, and classics varying from Charles Dickens' Great Expectations to Alexandre Dumas' The Count of Monte Cristo. There are dozens, but listing them all seems rather ridiculous.
