As a child I wrote a lot of fanfics, but then went off to college and went many years without writing them. Now as an adult I find I enjoy returning to these pre-created worlds of tv shows and anime to explore them. This account was created to share these explorations.

One of my biggest hobbies is watching and studying Japanese anime, because I find the culture of Japan to be a very interesting one, especially in its contrast of American culture. In 2006 I went to Japan as part of a university trip abroad. All the anime I watch is in its original Japanese format, so my fanfics reflect that, taking place in the Japanese universe of an anime rather than the English-dub version (especially Yu-Gi-Oh, where the English version is so very different from the Japanese).

At the moment I'm nostalgically reliving my youth by immersing myself in the adult fanbase of shows I loved as a kid, like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, so the majority of my new work will be non-anime related for the time being. :)
