Who doctors the doctor? A heat wave has blanketed the city and Donatello is feeling the affects, but is this what is making him sick, or is it something else? It is a race against the clock to figure out what is wrong with their progressively worsening genius brother, and with April and Casey out of the country, the prognosis looks bleak.

Don doesn't remember when his lab became the place for midnight conversations, but somehow it has. Somehow in this last, horrible year, it has become the safe place for all of them at one time or another. He never knows who will walk through the door, or what will be on their mind. But that's okay. He's a good listener.

Donnie saves a young boy from the Kraang and now has to take care of him. He is thought to be an angel sent from the boys parent s to protect him but will Don be able to handle the responsibility? Will he be able to protect the boy? R&R xx

Having his brother's minds being controlled was bad enough – especially when he had to fight them. But the worst part was the eyes. Nothing was scarier than staring into someone's eye and not have them looking back at you. *Set directly after Parastitica*

Donatello was used to fixing things. It was something he enjoyed, but promises were different. They weren't just a machine he could repair.

Mikey discovers texting on his tPhone and decides to strike up a conversation through text to Donnie. During the text, he freely shares what is going on in his goofy head. Donnie tries to explain texting to Mikey. The conversation gets out of hand and a little goofy.

So Mikey stumbles upon a ray gun that Don made and accidentally turns himself, Leo, and Raph into three year olds...the question is; Who's got it worse?

Mikey never knows when to leave well enough alone, but Leo didn't expect Don to swoop in on him either. But being the big brother doesn't always mean comforting his brothers. Sometimes, they're allowed to comfort him too.

Captured, bruised, and beaten, Donatello nears his breaking point as The Shredder continues to press him for the location of his home and his sensei. It's no help that his brothers have no idea where he is, or if he's even still alive. Raph tries to find out what's bothering Leo, but he isn't willing to tell that to him. So why does he tell everything to Don, who weren't even asking about it?

I'm not the only one not handling the newest incarnation of Ninja Turtles very well. Donatello isn't happy, either.

This story came to me as an idea in exploring April's perception of the Turtles and what must be some jarring contrasts that combine in their identity as teenagers, ninjas, and mutants. That, and I just really wanted to give Don some nice meaty action.

Has anyone ever noticed how sewer systems are filled with methane gas, which is highly flammable and, consequently, explosive? Has anyone noticed that the Hamato clan uses various forms of fire down there in their day-to-day lives? Donatello finally does.
