hiya! im Akihiko! I am also at AO3 and Adult-FanFiction.org.

About me, well, I started out in fanfiction after exploring the world of yoai. That led me to read Inuyasha and Naruto Yoai fanfiction. Eventually, I found the Harry Potter fandom and fell in love. There are so many stories to be found in the Harry Potter world that the possibilities are almost endless, so though I read primarily slash, I won't turn down a recommendation for a good story of any genre and I write whatever strikes my fancy at any given time whether it be kid!fics or trashy PWPs. Not all of my stories can be posted here (because of mature content) but they can be found at my AFF account or AO3.

As for writing fanfiction, i have ALOT of ideas, but not always the time or patience to follow through with them. I love beginning a story, but it is harder to finish one when the next story idea is pounding away at my brain, so I try not to have too many stories going at once!

Our Little Norrie- for those who have come across a story called Twin Future, and noticed that it takes elements from my story, I would just like to let you know that LLyNnS did ask for permission and it is not plagiarized! if you liked my story you should definitely go check it out!

OLN Update!- I have decided to delete Our Little Norrie, because of content and the fact that I have stalled out on the story. if I ever feel like continuing the story I will edit it and repost once I have finished it. However, it will remain posted at AFF as it is.

Useless and uninteresting facts about me:

My favorite pairings are those with an older dominant seme/top and a younger submissive uke/bottom . My theory is that it stems from daddy issues *ha!*

I am obsessed with fanfiction. Reading and writing it is pretty much all I do anymore!

According to the Sorting Hat at Pottermore, I am a Gryffindor! Any other sorting tests I've taken usually put me in Slytherin or Ravenclaw, but Pottermore makes it official! (I'm such a nerd...)

I love reading what others think about canon HP like on their profiles and such. It makes for interesting reading and gets you thinking, which usually leads to inspiration! People who have something interesting to say: muggledad, ARedHair, LordsFire...

Fanfiction Pet Peeves: These are the things that I have seen while reading fanfiction that drive me nuts!!

Bad story summaries: there is nothing more baffling than authors who write "im not gud @ sumerys plz reed" and actually expect anyone to read their story! if YOU can't even summarize your story, I'm betting that I will have little idea of what's going on either, even if I was interested in reading a random story I know nothing about. The worst, though, are stories that have a summary that tells me nothing about the story, or I one that I wouldn't understand until after I've read it, like quotes from famous people or statements so general I still have no idea what is supposed to happen.

Switching points of view: I generally don't like reading stories that are written in first person, it just sounds weird to me and it is limited in what the author can show us and I think that there is nothing you can do in first person that you can't do better in omni or third person POV, but I understand that that is just a quirk of mine. What I can't stand is switching from character to character in first person. Even worse, no matter what POV the author is writing in, is marking each section "so-n-so's POV" before they start. It's very distracting and annoying.

Double Scenes: There is no reason why we would need to see a scene from two different perspectives. Its a massive waste of time when an author writes a scene in one character's perspective and the goes back to the beginning and rewrites the exact same scene from another character's perspective.

Author's notes in the middle of your story: Talk about distracting and annoying! I don't want to hear about the random thoughts the author had in the middle of the paragraph. It breaks the reader out of the story and most of the time the information is obvious or completely inane. The story is not a dialogue, it's a narrative. just tell the story!
