Hi-

I'm a girl from Germany, therefore, yes, English is not my native tongue.

I'm quite shy at first- I need a lot of time to work up the courage to actually write a review, and I'm not sure if I'll ever post any of my own fanfictions, even though I do write them quite often. But I guess I'm nice if you get to know me :)

I mostly read fantasy / children's novels, though don't expect me to know either the popular ones or classics, my taste is special and quite strange...

I'm also interested in manga, but I know even less of those. My current absolute obsession is Axis Powers Hetalia, though, and it is probably one of the things that changed my life the most (apart from Harry Potter, my very first obsession).

Apart from Manga, though I don't really watch Anime series, I adore Anime movies, most notably Hayao Miyazaki / Ghibli Studios.

When I watch television it's mostly movies, almost everything, as long as they're good, and crime series( all three CSI's, though I like Miami the least, Mentalist, Criminal Minds, Bones), in which I include Dr. House.

I always adore canon, and it's also my "problem" with Hetalia, because I usually can't stand there being non-confirmed almost-canon pairings. I'm very adamant about my pairings, please excuse that :)

Talking about pairings, I don't care what genders people have, it's the chemistry or the history or whatever that makes a pairing. I'm also not for pairing two guys up just because one wants slash, that's just... hypocrisy. I'm fond of pairings that play with gender roles, though; like maybe a strong woman and a shy, cute man, or two women who are both undeniably female.

I also really like genderbending, as strange as that seems to be, because I think it's interesting to think about how people would change and how they would stay the same if they were the other gender, how relationships would change, and so on.

In my normal life, I'm a student in high school (well, the German equivalent that's actually quite different) and I have too many hobbies to manage. I love traveling, unfortunately, I haven't seen that much of the world yet- apart from the German- speaking part of the World (so Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and parts of France), I've only been to England (two times, Bournemouth and Oxford, will be there for a third time this year) and China. I only really realized that I wanted to travel when I went to China, which was an exchange.

Since I've been a small child, I wanted to be a writer, and that has never changed. It is still the only thing I can really imagine myself doing at any time.

Hetalia taught me my love for languages and history, my love for history finally made me fall in love with the Lolita fashion. (If you're not familiar with it, don't assume strange things and look it up! :) )

I'm still not wearing it, but I'm getting there.

I have wonderful friends, and I love my life. I'm quite optimistic.

I would like to put a quote here, but I can't think of anything good. Maybe something in German?
