Only a few weeks after joining the ZPD, Nick Wilde is already confident that he's become a brand new fox. But as a mysterious group starts taking out the biggest criminals in the city, he suddenly finds himself pulled in two different directions by his new life and his old. Unfortunately for him, only one can win out in the end, and the other will be erased forever.

A fox from Nick's past has reemerged bringing grave news. A rival gang to Mr Big is on the hunt for Nick and Judy because of their association with the Big family. Tension between him and Judy begins to take its toll on their relationship as he continues to work with a thief in order to preserve this new life he made for himself.

After their first year as partners at the ZPD, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde have to deal with a new threat.

The original dystopian/ zoodystopian plotline, or the closest we can get to it, pieced together with old and new material released by Disney. In the shinning mammal metropolis of Zootopia, those descended from predatory mammals are forced to wear Tame collars for the safety of society as a whole. But when Nick Wilde tastes freedom, he and his friends plan to hustle it back.

Knowledge was a key. It unlocked the mind, it freed the spirit. Almost no one knew about life outside the city-state, no one except for those in control. Nick had always lived a life of outcast and discrimination, but as society begins to crumble, he must do what he can to find the answers rarely asked for — and more importantly — to survive in a corrupted world turned against him.

It's been a year and a half since the incident with night howlers. Our well-matched partners, Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps, have since become a couple. Following a night of intimacy in which they both reflect on their what lives might have been without each other, they find themselves in an alternate universe where things have taken a much darker turn. The story starts after the arrest of Bellwether and covers all the following events. The return of Judy within the ZPD, Nick's entrance to the Police Academy, their beginnings as partners, and also the unexpected development of their relationship... The whole thing in the midst of new adventures full of mysteries and dangers.

Begins with an expanded peek at Nick Wilde's Academy training, graduation, and first day as a cop with Judy Hopps, then follows the life of Nick and Judy and their budding friendship that becomes more than either imagined. There will be some crimes, life on the beat, slice of life/fluff, and a big undercover caper that will test both of their skills as individuals and partners.

Nick and Judy write e-mails back and forth as Nick struggles to adapt to the world of being a ZPD Academy trainee, and Judy tries to tackle her next case with a temporary unhelpful partner.

Judy and Nick are nigh inseparable, and have become standard bearers for peace between predator and prey in Zootopia. Though with a high profile in the ZPD, they have become high profile targets themselves. While he appreciates his girlfriend's support, Nick isn't sure if he's ready for the real thing: especially when it involves two ex-convicts that used to work as security guards for a corrupt ex-mayor.
