Like every writer, Sandy Sue strove for years to get published. But when that happened, it wasn't the Golden Fleece she expected. It didn't validate her as a human being, or prove her worth, or go far in compensating for the publishing world's brutality. Dang it.

So, now, she writes what she loves—and that's Fan Fiction. So far that includes Star Trek (both TNG and Enterprise), Batman—The Dark Knight, and Criminal Minds.

She posts her stories on her blog, A Mind Divided—Artful, Conscious Living with Bipolar Disorder ( where she also writes about her struggle to manage a mental illness with consciousness instead of drugs. She illustrates her posts with her collage and mixed-media artwork.
