Hey, guys, the another update for those who are still wondering. I'm not going to continue this story the way it is. I don't like my writing style or pacing, so I'm going to need to rewrite it and re-organize it. I'll continue the narrative after that. I have an outline made and I'm shooting for 15 chapters plus an epilogue, which would make this the longest story I've written so far. I'll likely get a good portion of it done before I start submitting the rewrite so I don't disappoint people who like this story. I'm not used to having fans yet. Sorry for the no updates. I'm only writing this because I'm afraid there are some people who still care.

Update on MK: Redemption if anyone's interested. I came up with some more ideas for the story. But I've realized that I'll need to be way more organized with my writing style in order to write it the way I want to now. Looking back, I don't really like how I made most of my chapters jump back and forth between characters. I also think the chapters were too short and weren't detailed enough. In order to improve the story, I'm going to do a rewrite. I've made a very rough outline of the chapters. I haven't elaborated on it but here's the gist of it:

I have 15 chapters planned out, plus an epilogue chapter. So there will be three acts in this story, each one being five chapters long. The first five chapters will focus on the "Good" characters, i.e Liu Kang, Sonya, Johnny Cage, and Raiden, and it will introduce a few that weren't in MK2011. The second five chapters will focus on the "bad" characters, although we'll find out that without Shao Kahn around that not all of them are quite as bad as we thought. The final five chapters will introduce a few "Last-minute" characters, but it will mostly focus on the final battle scenes and end the conflict. The epilogue will pretty much be a wrap-up, and it will show what the characters are up to after the conflict ends. The number of chapters aren't written in stone yet though, so there might be more or less depending on a few things.

I've also noticed that there is a popular story on this site that's also called Mortal Kombat: Redemption. I'm wondering if I should change the name of the story so nobody gets confused. The only problem is that I can't think of a better name for my story. So if anyone has any ideas, feel free to send me suggestions via Fanfiction's messing system.
