What can I say. I guess Ive always been a lurker on fanfic.net. I just love to read. My book case is overflowing and I guess from starting there I moved into manga/anime which in turn took me here. I guess I just love being able to come here and see what people can do with existing worlds and change them or to tell the story in ways that are different, yet still keep the feel for the world it comes from. And once in a while...you find some real gems hidden amongst the hundreds of thousands of stories here.

Other than that...well I guess I consider myself to be a "normal" person, though that would really depend on your take on what normal is ne? I can usually be found in the company of good friends at the weekends, perhaps with a beverage or two. Outside that I read a lot, do a lot of gaming (RPG'S/RTS/MMPORGS/FPS), watch quite a bit of Anime, read LOTS of manga, and watch a bit of TV now and then (currently addicted to House and Battlestar Galactica...cant believe it's ending soon :( ). I would say I am a pretty big sports fan as well, football being my favorite, but then I do also like Tennis and F1 with a spot of Rugby if I am really bored. I have a pretty large range of music I like, and have far to many films I liek to list em all here. Oh yeah I also work, and am currently studying my off trying to learn how to become a CISCO certified Network Engineer. Hard and complicated are two words that dont really do justice to this course :P

In my heart of hearts, I would also say that I'm an aspiring writer. Right now I have this Bleach fic running round and round my head, and I even started writing it up on my laptop, buuuuut I am without a doubt my own worst critic. I just dont want it to be to cliche and as it involves an OC that is pretty central to the story (but never THE main character) I just keep putting off putting it up. On last check I was about 80,000+ words...and it was just getting started. Maybe...maybe one day I will have the guts to take the plunge and add it :)
