So I think that most of you who reach this Profile are not that happy with me, and for that I do apologise. I will not withdraw my opinions about your posts, but I am very sorry if my comment in any way made you feel bad about yourself.

FYI below is a bit about me and why I'm doing this, so if you want to skip that annyance and just head directly to the debate about the issue skip to the bold text below

So some background about me. I joined the world of fanfiction in 2008-2009 sometime, and absolutely fell in love with it. It created possibilities that I had only dreamt about and had something for everyone. By no means was it perfect, a lot of Mary Sues, some not so spot on grammar, and some plotlines that quite frankly disgusts me. But I felt no need to go on a crusade about this, respecting others are an imporatant thing for me and I mean, it isn't as if anyone would force me to read the things I felt were morally wrong.

BUT there were one thing that enflamed my rightous side, and that made me a bit enraged when I found one... The “please help me find story X” posts. So I habitually responded to these with a polite request to take them down, and told the person why it wasn't OK. It was fine to do it this way for a while for me, but I discovered something (in my mind) unforgivable. There were people that didn't just do this once or twice, but that had more “help me” posts than real stories! *Appaled GASP* And that pushed me over the edge I guess.

So now I'm on a quest to once and for all delete all these posts, and to make sure that people are aware that they are not OK. But I do feel that to anononymously reply and tell people to stop is a bit unfair, I mean perhaps you have some exellent point why it should be allowed? Or maybe you'd just like the chance to personally tell me your opinions about me taking the right to judge you. Therefore I should be logged in when I do this don't you think? But I'm not crazy or stupid. There are a lot of vengeful and petty people out there, and as a user with a few hundrerd alerts I'm not going to risk using my real account for this. So voila! Here is the compromise.

My plan for below is to post all the arguments in this debate, so whenever I get a response to my requests to not post “help me” as fics, I'll put it down here, with a response to the argument of course. Thus I'm hoping this will evolve by it self in time. Or not at all I guess if I'm the bomb and is 100% right. Btw, they will not be in order of importance, just by how complicated they are to make clear and consise.
