![]() Author has written 1 story for Final Fantasy: Tactics Advance. Call me Schwa. And Schwa is the LAW. Figured I'd take some time to re-write my profile... I'm no longer the elitist radical my last Profile made me out to be, no sir. I'm more of a pacifist these days. I'm 20 years old, a dude, not a chick (which means HAHA you can't stalk me... :P), still as Autistic as ever and proud of it as ever, and still love to write fanfiction of all things. My take on Fanfiction is, well... I don't really see what about it makes people sneer so bad. Why not just write what you like to write? I have a complex mind, but my life is simple enough-- I live in the moment. It's as simple as that. n_n When I write stories I try to make them at least short-novel-length and use only OCs. It makes more sense to me than writing about characters that already exist. I don't need the characters, I already have the universe they live in. I'm creative enough to think of something original, of course, but it's so fun to give more depth to the universes of video games I love so much. :) So my fics here are a combination of both. I have a rather unorthodox method of writing stories. I write the whole thing without posting a single chapter, in one long continuous stream of creativity, and get a jarbled, craggy savanna of words as a result. Then I go back through it from Chapter 1, and fuse together loose ends, fix plotholes, vamp my writing, etcetera, making DRASTIC edits to each chapter. I do this about four or five times. Then my story is finished. What does this mean: you won't see stories of mine go up until every chapter is finished. Longer wait between stories, but when chapters do start going up you can guarantee a finished story, unlike several authors here who leave unfinished novels everywhere on the database. :S Byes for now. --Schwa Here's a section of my profile I've reserved for talking about my finished (and some unfinished) works... Moogle Comfort -- FFTA fic. My first one, sitting at 34 chapters. This one follows a purehearted Moogle girl named Molly during her Time Mage training... While practicing, her spell malfunctions and a Seam opens, bringing in a human teenager from OUR universe, known as Tucker. A gaming nerd. Meaning the dude knows pretty much everything about the Final Fantasy universe, and surprises the hell out of everyone, whether he's mastering advanced techniques on the spot or stealing Baguba airships singlehandedly. The trouble starts, though, when Molly realizes that fate is taking from her everything she holds dear... her family, her best friends, her clanmates... and it's not until the very end she gets to do something to stop it, and remain the kind, pure girl she is. She has help, though! Tucker, of course, is there for her always, and Mickey the huntress may have a short temper but she's got a big heart to go with it. |
