This story is based off of the Walking Dead and it is my version of what happens after season 4 ends. It starts off with Daryl and Beth fleeing the prison after the Governor attacks and slowly builds a relationship between them. Daryl had done a lot of crazy shit before but letting her into his cell had been the craziest. Everything was just so dark, and he couldn't bring himself to say no to the warm light she brought into his life. Nothing was ever simple, though, especially in the apocalypse.

"Beth started to step forward, and without a second thought, he grabbed her arm and pulled her back." Daryl wasn't about to let her step into the line of fire, not when he just got her back. AU of mid-season finale and beyond.

Beth's curiosity gets the best of her when it comes to this handsome redneck that shows up at the family farm. She has a hard time resisting him and needs to know more about him. Daryl and Beth end up with this undeniable connection that neither of them can ignore, starting back at the farm.

How long does it take Daryl to realise he needs Beth as much as she needs him? There's more to the Daryl and Beth friendship than we see- through Daryl's eyes we'll see the (made-up) missing moments between the end of season 3 to the current show. It will be a slow-burn Bethyl but dont be put off, it appeals to any lover of their freindship as well.

I've decided to implement a new idea of mine. Instead of following a storyline, I will put out one shots delineating different scenarios with my favorite duo, Beth and Daryl. I guess similar to the Bethyl Drabbles series, but brevity will not be something I will incorporate into these. I don't accept requests very often, but feel free to put some in the comments.

After everything they've been through how could they just settle down and try to lead a normal life? I combined two fic ideas so the story then jumps to their reunion!

The prison is gone. Everything has fallen apart. Daryl and Beth are now together, running away from the destroyed safe haven. They stop at the train tracks to absorb and talk about what has happen. What are they going to do?

This is a DarylxBeth story which takes place after a one shot I wrote. The one shot was basically about them sharing a bottle of whiskey one night over a camp fire on Hershels farm and this story is just the consequences of that night. There's a better summary in chapter 1! :)
