Tori tells him that she's dating someone new too. He invites her on a double date and now she's got a problem. She needs a date. Jade has been chosen to become a Grim and the late Tori is her first student. It's hard to keep everything all business when Tori insists on finding her murderer - not to mention the fact that Jade feels more alive with her new pupil than she ever did when her heart was still beating.

Tori was not supposed to be her friend, and definitely not more than that, which was really all that she could be, aside from nothing at all.

And really, you can come up with a hundred reasons right now why you two wouldn't work out as a couple, yet you shared the best six months of your life with her. JORI
