It's a new year at school, and Haruhi's frustrated with the state of affairs in the Brigade. In order to get things back on track, she decides to give everyone their annual review... Diverges after book 8.

A crack fic that demanded it be written suddenly. To summarize Kyon's explanation of his experiences, let me quote him: "What the hell just happened here?"

The trauma that I am talking about is that of my energetic, paranoid, manic, unstoppable mother, who taught me almost from the day of my birth about time travellers, ESPers, aliens, magicians, yakuza, vengeful gods, and sliders.

The groups observing Haruhi have determined that Kyon's ability to manipulate her makes him a threat. A threat that must be eliminated. Betrayal and deceit plague Kyon as he struggles to stay alive and, even more painfully, find out just who he can really trust.

After school when everyone has left, come to the 1-5 classroom? Seems harmless enough ... right? A backup watches her primary and wonders if she could do better. Not a matchup for the characters it's about; not as AU as it will seem initially.

Endless Eight. Trapped in eternity, Yuki Nagato's sanity is slowly crumbling-and the only thing that can save her is a promise.

The Integrated Data Sentient Entity finally orders Yuki Nagato to kill Kyon so that it can observe Haruhi's reaction. Nagato, however, is uncertain. Spoilers for Disappearance. Really, could be either friendship or romance depending on your point of view.

Death might not be short, but all it takes to spark it is one little day. Short little AU one-shot: "What if Asakura succeeded in murdering Kyon?" Obviously not the happiest of stories.
