Hi! My Name is Anna!

I'm a girl. (I have this feeling most authors here might be... but who knows!)

I'm Dutch! Sadly, I don't speak any Dutch because my mother and myself grew up in America. No one taught me Dutch. :(

I am in High school and have aspirations to be a trauma surgeon! Though military doctor is looking pretty promising as well.

I play soccer, do track, dance, and diving (winter only)

I love sweets(but if they are too sweet I gag) and my friends.

One of my favorite quotes is " Minds are like Parachutes, just because you lost yours doesn't mean you can use mine." -anonymous.

Also, I believe that if you're going to show the world your light, you better burn brightly. (Hence my penname, Burning Bright)

I try my best to be optimistic, but sometimes I kind of fail.

I like to read fiction. I like to watch action. I So far a majority of my fanfictions are about the tv cartoon, Young Justice. The characters are really workable.

My favorite is Richard Grayson! It ticks me off the producers didn't delve more into his character.

I'm also a HUGE fan of the Percy Jackson series. I fell in love with Heroes of Olympus!

I'm really into Karneval, a manga, right now. Gareki and Akari are my little tsundere babies!

I love a lot of different Animes/Mangas!

I'm hoping to start a couple new categories of writing.

I have a Karneval fanfic, but I'm thinking of writing another one.

I'm planning out a How to Train Your Dragon fic.

I'm a proud supporter of LGBTQS (the Q is for questioning, S is obviously straight), but I myself am Bi. I still think it's rude to not put Q or S in because the others are often discriminated against. Just like I think it is rude to say you can't be racist against white people. Equal rights doesn't mean squashing one group to make another seems better, it means everyone truly looking at each other and judging by personality, not physical looks or rumors, or sexual orientation.

I proudly acknowledge myself as a feminist, and try really hard to avoid stereotypes in writing, unless I'm making a point or aiming for a ridiculous mood to the story.

Like most, I prefer to listen to music when I write. I also tend to write/read instead of doing homework. (yeah... sometimes homework gets done after midnight)

There are a lot of those repost thingys that I really like, but unfortunately, I fail at using most electronics and websites befuddle me. That and I'm paranoid about plagiarizing.

I've seen other authors do this, so I'll do this too.
