Jeeves of jeevesandwooster here. I'm not sure if I'll just use this account for reviewing or if I'll actually write something with it, since I rather doubt my solo writing abilities. So, this is mostly for my own convenience in exploring stories about characters I find fascinating. And what is that, you ask? Well, it could be put as Wooster always liked to put it: "Dark men with something to hide that live underground", or, as I prefer to think of it, dark men with snarky attitudes and withering intellect that confound common conventions of right and wrong.

The current fascination is Les Misérables, specifically Javert and the philosophical and moral issues surrounding him and Valjean (what, I am a philosophy major), though the objects of my obsessions are and have been at various times any one or combination of the following: Gregory House, the Phantom (of the Opera, natch), Severus Snape, and V, to name a few. I come from the House fandom originally, though I've probably been reading Harry Potter fanfic since middle school.

Anywho. As previously stated, I'm not sure where I'm going to take this account as of yet. Any suggestions/encouragement would be much appreciated.

Your most loyal servant,

Jeeves.

edit 12/9: my brick came earlier this week! yay! finals are kind of interrupting my reading time, but i project i can finish it before winter break is over.

A month after the barricades fall, Valjean finds himself in the middle of a mystery and discovers just little he knows about his erstwhile pursuer. Not quite AU, but events of the Brick are not central to the plot. Part of the 'You Know Nothing of Javert' series. Feuilleton; edited up to chapter 27.
