At night I'm different

My expression is through words

Though my dreams are distant

At night is when they soar with the birds

I hold no mic and

I strum no strings

I'm still surprised

How they do these things

When I do these things

I'm far from the sky

It holds me close to the ground

With its lines it ties

And through no shame

I humbly admit

When these stars are high in the sky

I'm at home and I lay down or sit

I I stay to earth

But not in reality

It holds a certain mirth

But can be a fatality

So I stay in my world

And be alive, sorta

And am addressed by the name
