![]() Author has written 16 stories for Kuroko no Basuke/黒子のバスケ, and Touken Ranbu/刀剣乱舞. Alright, it's been (more than) a year since I last updated my profile, so... yeah. Anyway, hi. Name's Rhymos, and I love reading fanfictions more than I write the fanfictions themselves. I'm currently hooked with Final Fantasy fandom, although I only played like, 3 out of the whole FF franchise. If you want to scream with me about FFVII, FFXV or World of FF, feel free to PM me. I'll try to be more active here... WHY SHOULD WE REVIEW A STORY? copy-pasted this from weirdgrammar Writers- all of them, from famous authors to subtle FF writers- ALL depend on the feedback from our readers. Vision Dominican brought up an interesting albeit tragically true idea: "Lack of reviews is the greatest killer of fan fic writers out there. We at the institute wish to let the public know of how they can pitch in to save our dying writers."
What you call being "too lazy to review" is what we call "a flame to the pages" as the writers. That one minute or two that you felt "too lazy" to review is another minute of creeping discouragement that all writers feel as they begin to think... "Why am I even here…?" "What's even the point of continuing?" "My skills must be terrible…no one cares for my story…" "I'll never be a good writer...I quit." These are only a few thoughts that go through every writer's head- that go through MY head- when we put out a chapter / story with all our heart and soul within, and we sit there…and sit…and wait…and not a single person says even a word. If you're not a writer, you have NO IDEA how much that hurts… If you ARE a writer, then I'm sure you know just how great it feels when someone is kind enough to leave a heartwarming and encouraging review, and you read it, smiling while thinking…"Hell Yeah!...I did it…" So, why not give fellow writers the same luxury here? Too many times I've seen epic and utterly beautiful works of literary art fall to pieces before finally being abandoned due to the terrible discouragement that the lack of reviews can cause. Sometimes, it is so severe that the very writer himself decides to quit, denying the world his skills of writing that I'm it would have deeply enjoyed. So… Just one minute, that's all it takes. Just a few gentle taps of the fingers on your keyboard, a few seconds or so of your time, and your words can SAVE a writer from a dark demise. Do me a favor: Go find a story, ANY story, anywhere here on Fanfic.net, and see if you can help it. If it has very little / no reviews at all, just check it out, and say whatever comes to mind. And enjoy the thought in mind that you could have just SAVED that story, with just a few taps of the keyboard… If you agree with what I have said then please copy and paste any part of this story you wish onto your profile. Modify it in any way you see fit; there is no need to use my exact words. You make it say what you want it to say. Reposted this from Ciero-Blue This is a story about God. Read if you believe in him, and read even if you don't. A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won’t repost it? Repost this if you truly believe in God. If you believe in Jesus Christ put this in your profile and don't just ignore this, because in the Bible it says if you deny me, I will deny you in front of my Father in the gates of Heaven. Ninety-six percent of teens in the world today don't stand up for God. If you are one of the 4 percent that does put this in your profile. OC Profile Touken Ranbu Name: Ashiya Satoru Age: dunno, he was born around Nara period, so he's even older than Mikazuki. Gender: Male Sexuality: Asexual-Biromantic Appearance: Stands about 171 cm tall. Has an undercut white hair. I depicted his eyes as brown-reddish but I might change that. He's got a pair of seals as earrings. His skin is pale. Has a very gentle smile. His body is lean, not too much muscle. Personality: Sometimes can be very aloof. Very wise and kind. Spoke in a polite manner and often uses keigo. Always calls each of his TouDan with respectful tone. Deep down, he suffered from depression and mild-anxiety. Somehow has this unspeakable admiration to Gokotai. Really likes to tease Yamanbagiri. One can say that he loves his TouDan too much to the point that it's really unhealthy. Very supportive with the relationships between the swords, no matter if it's romantic or just platonic. He can be a sadist when it comes to battle, almost always making jokes and teases his enemies. Other facts: He loves to drink coffee very much, and he prefers black coffee with no sugar at all. Keeps him awake and sane, he says. Hates sweet things, but will eat them if it's his swords who gave it to him. In his spare time, he makes some haiku, which by the way, is really lame. A true meme lord, he sometimes teams up with Tsurumaru. He's quite proficient in sword-handling, but actually prefers to fight hand-to-hand. When he's really stressed out, he will go out from the citadel and take a walk around. Loves Gokotai's little white tigers to death. Has a dark past, but refuses to talk about it if it's not necessary. In the modern era, he works as a freelance novel writer. Most of his books were horror-themed. Some of them were best-sellers. Before he became a Saniwa, he lives alone in an apartment nearby Shinjuku. |
