All I can say is that I am a huge Gunsmoke fan and I love Matt and Kitty! I wish the writers had seen fit to give them more of an onscreen relationship but since they didn't I have to get my Matt and Kitty romance fix through fanfiction like so many other fans of this wonderful couple. The very first episode I can clearly remember watching from when I was a kid is Mannon which is one of my favorite episodes along with Hostage, Seven Hours To Dawn, The Jailer and Quiet Day In Dodge. I know some of those episodes don't seem like they would be what one would think of as being a favorite but to me they are because they provide so many opportunities to catch a glimpse into just how deep Matt and Kitty's relationship really went. I have also only recently gotten interested in the old tv western series the High Chaparral. John and Victoria are my favorites. Other older shows I enjoy are Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, Little House On The Prairie, Big Valley( Nick is my favorite ), Maverick ( James Garner and Ed Bruce version ) and The Waltons although Grandpa Walton was my favorite character and after he died it lost a lot of the appeal for me. My favorite movies are westerns especially anything starring John Wayne. All the Gunsmoke movies, Shadow Riders, and Shenandoah are favorites as well. Newer movies I count among my favorites are Flicka, Wild Hearts, and The Last Cowboy. You get the idea pretty much anything with a western or frontier type theme as long as it can hold my interest. My favorite books are the Little House on the Prairie series by Laura Ingalls Wilder, Shadow Riders, and once again pretty much anything with a western or ealy frontier theme. I have also recently become interested in the Harry Potter series of books although I admit I don't claim to be a huge fan. I love country music especially the older more traditional sounds I grew up listening too. George Jones's He Stopped Loving Her Today is one of my all time favorite songs. I also love practically anything by George Straight but my favorite song of his of all time would have to be I Cross My Heart from the movie Pure Country. I am very good when it comes to spelling and looking into a story for questions that seem as though they need answered or spotting when things don't seem to add up although I am not very good when it comes to punctuation or sentence structure, however if anyone is in a pinch for a beta as a friend of mine often seems to be and wants someone to look their story over for them and do what I can to help them correct it I am very willing to do so...just P.M. me. I am very superstitious! I hate the number thirteen and other omens! |
