I am a science fiction/steampunk fantasy writer currently in between projects. Badfic can be ignored. Goodfic should be praised. But nothing pains me more than mediocre fic. We already have enough E.L. Jameses in the world. If you can write coherently, you owe it to your craft to write it with spirit and depth.

I'm old enough to know better, too young to care, and the field in which I grow my Effs is completely barren. Someone once called me the Gordon Ramsey of the writing world.
