A Season 7 project. This story takes up Downton Abbey where Julian Fellowes left it, beginning midway through 1926. This is a serious attempt at a "real" season, embracing all the major characters, and most minor ones, and major/minor plotlines for each of them. There will be 7 (or 8) episodes plus a Christmas Special. Rated T for allusions to mature subject matter.

"The Season will begin in two months. Go to London. Find an heiress. A pretty girl whom you will not mind seeing across the dining room table night after night. After all, as your mother would say, 'marriage is a long business' so if you cannot be with the woman you love, then find a woman you will not mind being with."

A particularly pernicious piece of gossip threatens to ruin Christmas for Cora Crawley and her beloved, albeit imperfect, family. Are the rumors true? And does it matter even if they are? Some fluff, some vague satire, some romance, lots of rambling character analysis :) Anyone who leaves positive feedback will have brightened my entire existence, so thank you for the support!

I have never written for Downton Abbey. I love Robert and Cora though. I wanted to try writing something and I had no idea where I was going with it. This was the result ..

Simon Bricker ignited a powderkeg when he snuck into Cora's room that night. Like a phoenix, the Crawley marriage eventually rises from the flames stronger than ever. However, at first, it has to burn like hell. Angst. Sex. ANGST.

Cora happens upon some new reading material that has been mysteriously left in the library. Featuring passages from D. H. Lawrence's "Lady Chatterley's Lover." Some minor references to s6!

When Robert and Cora wake up one morning in the year 2010, it's up to Carson and Mrs Hughes (with the help of rest of the household) to figure out how to get them back. A dual Cobert/Chelsie fic. Will contain some sci-fi/action.
