Author has written 8 stories for Lord of the Rings, Silmarillion, Bloodborne, Shadow of the Colossus, and Dark Souls.

Good morning. No, I don't care what the time of day during which you are reading this actually is. I write whatever I damn well please, but I do try to come up with ideas that you haven't seen four million times.

My favorite fandom is The Lord of the Rings. I am a huge fan of both the books and the films. I have also read The Silmarillion, The Hobbit, The Children of Hurin, and Unfinished Tales, so I promise that my Tolkien-based stories will not majorly contradict the legendarium unless it is for an intentional plot device. That being said, it should be noted that in all of my Tolkien fanfics, Saruman and Melian are brother and sister, with Melian being the elder sibling. Many of my stories will have a focus on their brother/sister relationship in order to make Saruman's character more fleshed out.

My all-time favorite games are Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. Actually, sometimes I really hate being a fan of Shadow of the Colossus because nearly every other fan of that game seems to think that the main character, Wander, is some kind of heartless, sadistic, psychopathic monster who got what he deserved for killing the Colossi. What the hell is the difference between the Colossi and the lizards that you shoot for more stamina? Why is everyone so pissed off at Wander for killing those "magnificent creatures," but no one bats an eye when he shoots a lizard full of arrows and rips its tail off? For god's sake, how many goddamn cows do you think have been slaughtered to sustain him over the course of however long he has been alive? These people think that killing these 16 creatures to resurrect his dead girlfriend is the ultimate evil or some such nonsense. They keep bringing up "one life in exchange for 16," but they don't ever think about how many animals Wander and Mono had eaten to stay alive before the events of the game. Unless you're a vegetarian, then you're a complete hypocrite if you think that Wander is evil for killing the Colossi, because God knows how many innocent creatures have been slaughtered to keep you alive. Incidentally, I'm not a vegetarian. What makes the Colossi worth more than any other animal? Is it because they're big? If so, then these people need to get their priorities straight. Is it because they're "magnificent" or "majestic?" Magnificence and majesty are dependent on subjective opinions and do not necessarily pertain to the facts of reality. What one person considers to be majestic might not have the same impact on someone else. It's an opinion. And what about Ico? Didn't Ico slaughter countless shadow creatures just before the fight with the Queen at the end? They are a thousand times more docile than any of the Colossi. They make no effort to attack whatsoever. For Christ's sake, they used to be humans! Not animals, but humans. So why is it that Ico gets a free pass while Wander is condemned as an immoral prick of the worst kind? Not that I'm saying that Ico is evil. Far from it. The way I see it, it's 16 animals in exchange for a human being capable of rational thought. Wander isn't evil, he's lonely and desparate because he wants Mono back. So desperate, in fact, that he's forced to make a deal with an ancient God of darkness and gets screwed over anyway. On that note, do we really know that Dormin was evil? He never does anything wrong during the game, and he holds up his end of the bargain. To me, the whole thing was Lord Emon's fault. If he hadn't murdered Mono to begin with, none of this ever would have happened, and I was greatly displeased to see him get away with it at the end. I really wish that Dormin had pounded that bastard's face into the dust. Or maybe Emon could have fallen to his death on the collapsing bridge. That would have been pretty damn satisfying. I love this game, but I loathe other people who love this game. Seriously, SOTC fans. Pull yourselves together. Good thing that Ico is far less polarizing. I'm so glad that we can all agree on Ico. It's such a nice game.

For the most part, I don't really have any favorite pairings, so I'm usually not one for romance. The kinds of character relationships that I relate to the most are between siblings, because I have an older sister whom I love very much. I like dark stories, tragedy, and general horribleness, but I also enjoy my fair share of fluff. That's probably why I like Ico so much. You get your happy ending, but the game makes you earn it by kicking your emotions in the balls.

Fandoms That I Read/Write

The Lord of the Rings/The Silmarillion (This is my favorite series of books/movies ever. My personal favorite character is Saruman, because he's a very interesting and slightly tragic villain in the books. Unfortunately, he doesn't have quite as much character in the movies, but on the up side, he's played by the extremely badass Sir Christopher Lee. He's a very underrated character in my opinion. The Legend of Zelda (This is one of my favorite video game franchises. My favorite game in the series is Twilight Princess, and my favorite character is Zant.) Shadow of the Colossus (See rant above. Also, I really love Wander. He has a lot of character that's conveyed through gameplay instead of just cutscenes. He isn't exactly cut out for his journey. He's very clumsy, loses balance easily, runs kind of like a wimp, and is not very good with a sword. The only things he really has going for him are horseback riding and archery, both of which he is really good at. Seriously, shooting arrows with impeccable accuracy while riding a horse isn't exactly the easiest thing in the world, so Wander is pretty damn badass in that department. He also doesn't look very masculine. He doesn't have much muscle, and he is rather pretty. I think he's extremely adorable and sexy. Incidentally, I'm still not gay. Kind of.) Ico (Good god is this game awesome. It's a very impactful and well-presented love story that I really really like, which is saying something because I usually don't like love stories due to me being an emotionally jaded prick. Also, I really love Yorda. She's super adorable. Do I like Ico more than Shadow of the Colossus? I don't know. I certainly like the fanbase of Ico more than that of Shadow of the Colossus.) Bloodborne (This is a really fun game to play, and it has a wonderful story. It's my favorite FromSoftware game. It's very challenging, and it feels really good when you do well. My favorite character and boss is Gehrman. I died so many times to him. Yes, you can use visceral attacks, but I don't think that's a very fun way to play the game. I did that whole fight without visceral attacks, and I had a tone of fun. Whenever I died, I didn't get frustrated, because Gehrman's so damn cool. I especially love the attack when he jumps into the air, swings his scythe, and creates a huge gust of wind that usually kills me because I don't know how to dodge it. The flower petals flying everywhere are just lovely. Gehrman is awesome in general. This one-legged old man in a wheelchair suddenly stands up and reveals himself as the most epic badass in the whole game. I love it.)
