1/7/09-Yay; chapter 2 of MUFLT (aka Muffaletta, LOL) is up, and so is a new one-shot called True Love's Kiss. I've started Ch. 3 of said story and it will be much shorter; i feel like a lot of stuff I worked hard on to be really funny, or stupid, or touching, got lost in the massive length; therefore, I am going to aim for the 10-15 page range from here on out (occasionally a longer one might appear, but they will be rare). For one thing, long chapters take a long time (makes sense, right?). Also, Christmas Break is over; meaning work and school are back, meaning less free time. Chapter 3 should be up next week...I'm aiming for maybe Monday. Thanks to all who rated and reviewed and made suggestions; you've given me some stuff to think about that will hopefully make my writing better as this fic progresses.

1/4/09-First of all, Happy New Year! Second of all...sorry for the delay with the first chapter of Making Up for Lost Time. First I had to figure out my pacing after I decided it would not work for me to do seven ginormously long chapters...check. Then I had to start writing...sort of check. I had a lot of false starts before I got more than a page and two done, and then, when I thought I was nearing the end, I realized I hated at least half of what I had written; it was boring and overly detailed, and my characters were begging me to re-evaluate. I knew where I wanted it to end, so I wrote my last three scenes and, since Link and Zelda were satisfied with them, so was I. So...now I am working to rewrite the middle; I'm trying to introduce my supporting cast and establish how they relate to each other, just as I did with ZeLink in the prologue, only it's a bit more complicated with more people (and...fishlike beings). I think I've hit my stride now, so maybe things will progress a little faster and easier, and my sanity will return. Thanks to all of you who have read and reviewed and encouraged me to continue this story;' I'm doing my best; chapter 1 should be up in the next couple of days. Finally. Believe me, no one can possibly be more frustrated with the delay than I am:#

A bit about me:

I'm 29 and have been a ginormous Zelda fan since I first played the original at age nine or so (I also dressed as Zelda for Halloween in sixth grade; my brother was Link.) I'm currently in grad school and working part time, and I'm thrilled that I'm finally writing; I've wanted to do it for years, and some of the wonderful fics I've read here inspired me to take the plunge (with positive results so far). I'll definitely be posting more stuff; I've got about six different stories in progress and a bunch more inside my head. Also, random fact: my third toe is longer than my second toe on my right foot. Yeah, I'm wierd; you can expect to see this in some of my future writings (I have an idea about an indoor trampoline...)
