Set after S2E6 and the kiss between Alex and Maggie. After pushing Alex away, Maggie is forced to re-evaluate her feelings when Alex is injured in an alien attack... [Sanvers fic.]

In this universe, Alex and Maggie have been together for nearly two years, and Maggie is now working for the DEO. When Maggie finds a child in need, she and Alex do what they can to help her.

This is my take on what happens after 2x08. What thoughts could have been going through Alex's head as Maggie kissed her and the conversation after. Update 3/31 I didn't like how I originally ended chapter 19 so I fixed the ending and re uploaded. If you read previously go back and check out the new ending. Ya'll are probably going to hate me.

When Alex disappears Kara, Maggie and J'onn have to work together to figure out who has taken her. But as Kara's worry builds she is tempted to sacrifice her ethics to get results and find Alex before it is too late.
