Rocket Racoon. He never understood who he was, even after Ronan's defeat, or why he was created. All this Raccoon knew was that he was the only one of his kind, and he always would be. However, things change quickly when the mysterious orb falls into the wrong hands once more. And along the way, Rocket discovers chilling pieces of his past, and even finds he is not the only one.

Peter's mother dies earlier so the Ravagers pick Peter up when he's still tiny. Yondu wasn't quite prepared for the fact he'd have basically a baby to care for, but despite this, he still doesn't deliver Peter to his father. So how do Space Pirates learn to raise a baby?

Figuring out how to be free (Gamora-centric, Starmora, found family)

Five times Yondu maybe, kinda, sorta, almost claimed Peter as a son and one time he totally did. Nothing too intense, just a little Yondu/Peter father-ish/son-ish bonding-ish. Almost entirely pre-movie.

Yondu Udanta has cared for Peter since he was 8-years old so of course there would be some sort of bond between the two. Yet how does a careless Captain of the Ravagers begin caring for a puny Terran boy? Just a story about Peters life with the Ravagers up to the point of the movie. Switching between Yondu's and Peter's perspective. Rating because of language and violence.

With Peter hurt, Yondu does whatever he can to get his boy to safety. Even if it means being blunt with the rest of the Guardians. The Signs that Yondu Cares: Part 4

Who will take care of Peter when he falls ill. Or does no one care at all

Neytiri never did know that her heart wanted her to go in a different direction from what she knew. And now she's torn between choosing her heart's calling and her duty to her people. What will the outcome be?

Who would have thought? The Green Assassin would be murdered. For Peter Quill, the people he loves the most always die. But he couldn't save her, none of them could. Gamora is fine, she really is. But years under Thanos are not so easily forgotten, and those years have a tendency of coming back to her at the worst of times.
