![]() Author has written 19 stories for Mario, and Divergent Trilogy. Hey everyone, I'm Anonymous Girl Gamer! Before I start, I just want to say that I don't always agree with what I write. Most, if not all of the characters I write about, have no distinct religion in my fanfics and see the world from a secular point of view. I always try to promote good, biblical values in my stories, but there are times when that just isn't possible. Something that they might think is okay, could go against the Bible. I do this solely for realism - not because I actually support the characters' motives. Please keep this in mind when you read my stories. "Jesus had no servants, yet they called Him Master... My favourite Mario characters are Peach, Daisy and Rosalina. I tend to have bias with female characters! If I had to pick one, it would be Daisy. Peach is the main character and Rosalina gets into all the games, whereas Daisy is the underdog, the underrated princess. I've loved her since I was nine, when I played Mario Party DS, because she appeared to be an energetic tomboy. I also loved playing as her in Mario Kart DS, since her loud voice seemed appropriate for racing. If I had to pick a favourite male character, it would be Luigi, without a doubt. Again, he's the underdog, even though he seems to be more popular than Mario these days! He's also really caring and overall a nice guy. My least favourite Mario character is - wait for it - Pink Gold Peach. Like, she's so important to the franchise! "eye roll" My favourite Mario ships: Mario X Peach, Luigi X Daisy. Now for the Divergent series! My favourite Divergent character: Now that's a tough one! I like a lot of the characters, but the most interesting one for me without a doubt was Peter. Let me get this clear: I don't like him (I couldn't like a virtual psychopath), but I was really intrigued by his character in general. I thoroughly disliked him in Divergent, he wasn't quite as evil in Insurgent (though his motives were odd to say the least) and I felt a little bad for him in Allegiant. I wish there were chapters in the book from his point of view. My second favourite character was Tobias/Four. I thought he was a really deep, complex character, and I really felt for him throughout the books. Tris was another person I loved, and I adored Uriah! Not to spoil anything here, but in Allegiant I felt just as sad with him as I did with Tris (if you read it you'll understand what I'm getting at). Tris's mother Natalie was also really brave and selfless, and Al... poor Al. He was a really tragic character. Caleb... I despised him but pitied him too, I think he was influenced greatly by Jeanine. My favourite ships: Probably Tobias X Tris, their relationship was so realistic and they pulled together even through the bad times. Uriah and Marlene was pretty cute too. Peter X Tris... it wouldn't work canonically but I think they're a really interesting couple to read about in the world of fanfiction. I also rather like Uriah X Tris. My faction of choice: I prefer the world we live in now, where nobody is divided into factions and we are free to act however we want. But if I lived in Tris's universe, I would probably choose Erudite, because of all the virtues in the different factions, I think being smart is the one that describes me best (not saying I'm super smart, but my grades are pretty good). I love learning about new things, and I also love the colour blue and lemonade! However, I don't like being forced into learning (i.e. studying for tests), and I have my stupid moments. A lot of stupid moments, in fact. Perhaps too many to be a true Erudite. - I'm not selfless enough for Abnegation, and I couldn't imagine living so strictly. I like their way of life, but I wouldn't like to be a part of it. Also I believe you can be selfless and still do things you enjoy without feeling guilty. - Dauntless? Ha ha, I'm the most cowardly person I know! (though I do try to improve on this area - I'm gradually getting better!) Jumping off trains is not my idea of fun and I am not a risk-taker. - Candor? I'm pretty honest most of the time, but I will confess to lying a few times throughout my life, or not telling the truth to spare a person's feelings. It's not the worst faction, but at the same time I'm not sure if I'd be all that happy there. Still, I might put this one down as my second choice - it'd be nice to always be around honesty, even if it hurt sometimes. - And finally, Amity: I try my hardest to be nice, and kind, but I would never be good enough for their standards. I'm also a fairly negative thinker, so I think I'd get annoyed with their eternal positivity after a while. Maybe if I was on peace serum I'd stand a chance, but other than that... no. I suppose it's more appealing than Candor - but after further thought, I would probably fit in a bit better with them. That's why Amity is now my third choice, instead of second. If you love and believe in God and Jesus Christ put this in your profile, and don't just ignore this because in the Bible it says, ‘If you deny me, I will deny you in front of my Father in the gates of Heaven.' The girl you just called fat? She is overdosing on diet pills. The girl you just called ugly? She spends hours putting makeup on hoping people will like her. The boy you just tripped? He is abused enough at home. See that man with the ugly scars? He fought for his country. That guy you just made fun of for crying? His mother is dying. Put this on your profile if you're against bullying. I'm sure the people with a heart and backbone will. Why do we sleep in church, but stay awake through a 2 hour movie? Why is it so hard to talk about God, but so easy to gossip? Why are we so bored when we look at a Christian magazine, but find it easy to read Playboy? Why is it so easy to ignore a Godly Facebook Wall Post, yet we repost the nasty ones? Why are churches getting smaller, but bars and clubs are growing? Think about it, are you going to repost this? Are you going to ignore it, because you think you'll get laughed at? Would You Have Read This if it Said... Read This In God's Name. This is a story about God. Read if you believe in him, and read even if you don't. A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won’t repost it? Footprints In the Sand: One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky. In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there were one set of footprints. This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints. So I said to the Lord, “You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there have only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?” The Lord smiled and replied, “The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand, is when I carried you.” OBITUARY FOR THE LATE MR. COMMON SENSE Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and Maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense declined even further when schools were required to get Parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing. -Month One- Mommy. I am only 8 inches long, but I have all my organs. I love the sound of your voice. Every time I hear it I wave my arms and legs. The sound of your heart beat is my lullaby. -Month Two- Mommy. Today I learned how to suck my thumb. If you could see me you could definitly see I'm a baby. I'm not big enough to survive outside my home though. It is so nice and warm here. -Month Three- You know what Mommy? I'm a boy!! I hope that makes you happy. I always want you to be happy. I don't like it when you cry. You sound so sad. It makes me sad too...and I cry, even though you can't hear me. -Month Four- Mommy. My hair is starting to grow. It is very short and fine, but I will have a lot of it. I spend a lot of my time exercising. I can turn my head and curl my fingers and toes, and stretch my arms amd legs. I am becoming quite good at it, too. -Month Five- You went to the doctor today...Mommy, he lied to you. He said I'm not a baby. I am a baby Mommy, your baby. I think, and I feel...Mommy, what's abortion? -Month Six- I can hear the doctor again. I don't like him. He seems cold and heartless. Something is intruding my home. The doctor called it a needle. Mommy what is it? It burns!! Please make him stop! I can't get away from it! Mommy, help me!! -Month Seven- Mommy. I am okay. I am in Jesus's arms. He is holding me. He told me about abortion. Why didn't you want me, Mommy? What did I do wrong? Without GOD, our week would be: Sinday, Mournday, Tearsday, Wasteday, Thirstday, Fightday, Shatterday. |
