When Nightwing is called in with a mission from the Justice League, he isn't expecting it to be them asking him to lead a team of young heroes. At first he refuses the offer, preferring to work alone but a certain Tameranian girl and dark oncoming circumstances may force him to change his mind.

Caroline Forbes has one of the best jobs in heaven, the job of a guardian angel. She also happens to be the most rebellious angel in heaven. Desperate to keep her status up, she volunteers to be the guardian angel of the very dangerous Niklaus Mikaelson.
