In June 1519, Mistress Elizabeth Blount gives birth to a healthy baby girl. A few years later, Lady Mary Carey nee Boleyn births a bouncing baby boy. Two seemingly simple events change England forever.

September 7th, 1533. Everything is perfect. (Or, another "Anne has a son" AU.)

What if it wasn't the men in charge in the 15th century, but rather the women? If girls were more prized than boys? What if the Wars of the Roses had never happened; if it had been the Howards in charge rather than the Tudors? How would history have changed then? NB: While the ideas in this story might be mine, the historical characters and people most certainly are not!

A modern woman is given the chance of her lifetime: to change the course of history in another's shoes. But when those shoes are not those she had expected, she suddenly has to face the same tumultuous struggle as any Tudor courtier. Realising the lengths of which Henry would go to marry his new 'love' Anne requests a divorce upon her own accord, one in order to keep her daughter legitimate and to keep herself alive; however it wasn't upon her own accord to have Henry choose a new husband for her. And even less so for him to choose his loyal lap-dog: Charles Brandon, Duke of Suffolk.

Henry listens to the only person who could change his mind

Arthur Prince of Wales, survives his illness in 1502, but not without dire consequences for the Tudor Line. Just how would The Tudor Line continue, when there is a King Arthur II instead of a King Henry? And what would become of Henry if he were not to be King, would he still be the tryrant obsessed with a male heir, would he be something better? Or Something worse?

With her enemies conspiring against her, and her marriage coming to an end, Anne goes to Henry and requests a divorce. An agreement is reached, but with conditions, the most important of which being that Anne must marry a man of his choosing, Charles Brandon, the Duke of Suffolk.

What if Anne Boleyn arrives in the court of King Arthur Tudor in 1522 instead of that of Henry VIII? Will she still be pushed towards the King as a Boleyn pawn or direct her own destiny? Will she be forced into a loveless marriage by her heartless father, or will there be a man - or prince - willing to make her the most happy?

What if Katherine of Aragon had died in childbirth in 1518, leaving Henry with no Queen and no son? With a widowed King and countless Royal Houses and ambitious families vying for his hand, which woman is going to catch his eye and take his heart? Who will become his Beatrix?

What if the Sweat took many people that are most dear to the King's heart? Would it change the man he is about to become, would it spare his six wives their sad fates? Would it prevent his daughter from becoming Bloody Mary? Or will it all go down in the end, since nothing can change the course of events? In this fanfic, God takes drastic measures to show Henry his wrongs.
