Severus finds himself in a long line to find out his fate. Heaven or Hell. As he gets closer he realises that he might not have done enough. He died in the Shrieking Shack and didn't see the war end. Had he done enough? He turns around and spots Hermione Granger standing a few feet away; he realises that he'd rather spend an eternity with her than rot in Hell. [HGxSS][HPxDM].

Dolohov's curse left Hermione with more than just a scar. When Severus realises that her life is in danger, they start down a path that could change the course of the war. Begins the summer before HBP. Canon-compliant through HBP but will diverge from canon later on. COMPLETE.

The last thing Severus remembers is overhearing a prophecy in a dingy, goat-scented pub. Now there's a James Potter clone with Lily's eyes, a much aged McGonagall, and an infuriatingly familiar woman with wild hair all saying he is not a loyal Death Eater. Looking in a mirror proves that he is, indeed, suddenly pushing fifty. All in all, not his best day.

Crabbe Sr. attacks Hermione, desperate for revenge over the death of his son. The result is Hermione being thrown back through time. Before she even realizes what has happened, she's changed the past. Can she salvage the situation, or will her presence just make everything worse?
