![]() Author has written 1 story for Veronica Mars. I'm a TV ever curious nerd. My portable hard drive trumps my mobile phone on my list of essential stuff. My "To watch" list of TV shows grows bigger and bigger every yea and I am absurdly loyal to my shows and my favorite fanfics here. I like the underdog, so I believe Happy Endings deserved at least three more seasons and I refuse to acknowledge the last two seasons of Lost (unless it helps me win the ongoing argument). Also, there will never be enough 'Veronica Mars' sequels in the world to redeem the pain of having it cancelled in the first place (I was the kind to send mars bars to the CW. I'm owning it) . I'm crazy about House of Lies, Mad Men, Black Mirror, The Leftovers. Well-written, actually deep, dark stories. Thus 'You're the worst' is one of this year's fantastic discovery as dark humour is the best kind of humour. I still truly revere The Whedonverse's holy trinity: Buffy, Dollhouse and Firefly. Every other year I go on a Gilmore Girls marathon. When blue, nothing cracks me up like Dan Harmon's 'Community' or Tina Fey's '30 Rock' and its unbelievably awesome little sister 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt' (loved her book too). The Office, 'Freaks and Geeks', Lost Girl aka Buffy's-baby-series were nice too. Jenji Kohan's Weeds was a hundred times better than its rip-off Breaking Bad in my opinion (if you want to actually be deep don't try too hard, please. You can't just spread blood all around and hope it'll be enough) Finally, 'The Simpsons' and 'American Dad' hold a special place in my heart. Sure, I get nostalgic too so I go and bingewatch Dawson's Creek, Friends, How I Met Your Mother, Charmed or One Tree Hill. I'm a sucker for good ol' "Entertainment" that's my junkfood: reruns of I love Lucy, some of That 70's show, random episodes of almost any SNL season, Shonda Rimes in her prime (Private Practice was good, guys. Also Grey's Anatomy at the begining). Big fan of Period shows too, as long as the costumes are flawless and the script solid (Downton Abbey RIP)... I'm realizing this list could go on for pages. I've read anything Tenesse Williams ever wrote. I enjoy Noir films and pre-code Hollywood. I think my dream writing voice is somewhere between Virginia Woolf and Marcel Proust. I believe there is very little difference between music and litterature. I review to rave regularly though I have not posted much here. I have been writing all sorts of material for the last 8 years or so. I like constructive critism so knock yurselves out :) |
