Have a Q&A about some questions I’ve been asked recently!!

Q: What fandoms are you in?

A: I write for a variety of fandoms, but for the most part I stick to DRAMAtical Murder, South Park, My Hero Academia and Voltron: Legendary Defender! I was thinking about getting back into Ed, Edd, and Eddy, but who knows??

Q: Do you take fanfiction requests?

A: Indeed I do! However, before you hop on the wagon, I consider fanfiction requests Commissions unless I deem otherwise! I’ll have a link to my commission page at one point. For now, just DM me and I’ll tell you the specifics!

Q: What was the first fandom you wrote for?

A: To be completely honest with you? Spirited Away! It was supposed to be a canon continuation, but I never got around to ever finishing it! But my first actual posted fanfiction was a DMMd fic by the name of Shattered! I never finished it, as I got lost on the plot somewhere along the way, but I’ve written plenty for that fandom in the meantime!!

Q: What got you into writing?

(This is a two parter)

A: I’ve been writing since I was a wee bab way back in grade school. I wrote a lot of original stuff, and I finished my first actual book when I was in sixth grade. I decided to rewrite it when I was in 8th grade, but I never finish the rewrite! It was my first story, so it holds a huge spot in my heart.

A: As for what got me into writing fanfiction seriously, was a fic by the name of Second Chances by Rekki on AO3. It was a DRAMAtical Murder fic that hit me so hard that I just wanted to write something just as good. I haven’t managed to reach that goal just yet, but I’m working at it EVERY DAY!!

Q: What do you look for in a fanfiction?

A: As someone who grew up getting the English language and grammar drilled into my brain, if a fic doesn’t have a certain amount of polish, I won’t read it. I love for good grammar, exciting story, good pacing, and engaging characters.

Q: Do you have any characters you prefer to write over others?

A: Oh, boy! Do I!

South Park is a bit hard for me, since I’m so torn?? Crenny for sure, but also Twyle? And me and my friend came up with Stan/Kevin Stoley and it’s my obsession now. Like wow.

Q: Any Advice for budding authors?

A: I am most definitely not the person to ask about this. But the main advice that I received that always stuck with me is:

Just start!

Don’t worry about if something makes sense of if you spelled a word wrong! Just get your thoughts out on the page, whether that be on a computer or a piece of paper. Just...go! If you sit around planning for the rest of your life, you won’t get anywhere! You gotta DO THE THING, ya know?

I’m new to this platform. There are many things I don’t know. I’m not very good at keeping schedules or following my own well thought out plans, but I will never stop writing, never stop learning. Because after all, if we don’t learn, if we don’t grow, we’ll just be stuck in the same place, won’t we?
