![]() Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter. Hi! My name is Dany and i live in Mexico city. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, I first read the books back in 1999 when I was 7 (do the maths and you'll figure out my age) and since then I just love them. I also like Tolkien's books a lot, my favorite of all time as a matter of fact; I don't believe anyone can match up with the creativity and genius of that extraordinary writer. I love reading but lately I haven't read anything, except of course tons and tons of fanfiction; my favorite genre it's mistery, horror and really good romance stories not only on books but in movies too. Favourite HP Books: 1. Goblet of Fire - Highly the book with more action, I also liked the introduction of foreign characters and simply from first to last chapter it gave me (still gives me) hours of entertainment. It was also the first really complex book, my favourite part is the one at the cemetery because it proved that although most of the time Harry has help, he has bravery inside him and a surprising power that can match up Voldie's. And I can't forget that it was the first one that made me cry a lot. 2. Prisoner of Azkaban - The trio's friendship is put to test, I think it was wonderful how Rowling handled up this situation because you can really see how they're starting to grow up and how much they all need each other. It also introduced two of my favourite characters: Remus and Sirius; the Marauders background was something that really interested me. Even if it's the only book in which Voldie remains hidden in the closet, the action scenes were perfect, they deal more with the characters development rather than the "dark matter". Truly, an enjoyable plot. 3. Order of the Phoenix - Maybe the largest in extension but curiously the one I have read more times. There's something about this book that keeps me sticking to it every time. Some may argue that it had a lot of filling but it never seemed to me that it was unnecessary, I think Rowling did an excellent job, her style somehow never bores you and she wanted to point out how important the characters are, and thus their emotions and progressions. We realize too that even though Harry has to do the final act by himself, he can't take the weight alone and he will not do it because he has friends who care endlessly for him no matter what. Sirius death was incredibly well written and of course it made me cry for weeks, nevertheless it was vital for Harry's future actions as we see in the following books. And another important character was Snape, you could never be certain of his thoughts but you knew he was going to be a main protagonist. Favourite HP characters: Harry, because I grew up with him! And I would love to have a boyfriend like him (disregarding Dan's astonishing looks), Harry's personality is one of a kind, he's brave and he stands up unlike many of us do; he's truly worth of admiration. Sirius, there's something about him that seems sexy to me lol. I think the moment in which I cried more through the books (besides the end of book 7 and that was just because the series had ended) was his death. Snape, his mysterious but tragic past. Since the beginning, Sev is that typical teacher that hates you for no reason and surprisingly there's something interesting about him, he captured me since book 1 and knowing the past he shared with Lily was amazing. Luna, because she's the Anti-Hermione xD nah, just kiddin'. Luna is just the most brilliant character Rowling could ever come up with, she's amazing and she shows us a point of view that is really unique. I just love her and Evanna's performance is perfect. The twins Fred and George because they always make me laugh. Seriously, do you think the books would have been so fun without them? No! On OotP when they escaped with their brooms, I thought it was the most awesome scene. I hated Rowling for killing off Fred, can you picture George alone? I can't and it seems to me that it was such a random action... ughh I almost throw the book out of the window. Hermione, sometimes we think alike (besides the fact that I would never pair myself with Won-Won). But again, what would have been of Harry without her? He would have probably got eaten by Fluffy or something like that and then we wouldn't have books. She's an extraordinary girl (yeah, like the song) and like Harry, I admire her quite a lot.
