Judge Claude Frollo is a known gypsy hunter; Esmeralda works to put an end to his ruthless nature towards her people in a more 'diplomatic' way. Esmeralda and Frollo are both out of character and do things probably not typical to their true selves.

Esmeralda married Claude Frollo to save herself and their relationship is progressing. They come up against some obstacles in this story. Esmeralda learns more about Claude and his past and he learns more about her.

Higgins realizes he is in love with Eliza. Although she feels the same, she doesn't want to break off her engagement. She doesn't want to have a "lifetime of fetching Higgins's slippers, but a lifetime of Freddy fetching hers." Will Higgins be able to persuade her? Will Eliza change her mind?
