With season 7 done, here is how I would like to see the final season of Game of Thrones play out. Winter is truly here with the Army of the Dead crossing the wall. Now, she stands before the Lord Commander, a young man by the name of Jon Snow, a plea on her tongue and fascination in her eyes. With one single choice of his, their lives will change forever. Jon is on his way to Dragonstone while Dany awaits his arrival. A slow deep burn of their off-screen journey with plenty of inner dialogue & lusty angst building among Jon/Dany. The story takes place in between scenes in S07. I wanted to create more substance/intertextuality to characters' motives & interactions in their off-screen/off-book moments. Faithful to ASOIAF/GOT canon.

Events taking place from the season 7 finale onwards. Mostly Jonerys one shots from what I think will happen in Season 8, but will feature other characters. Spoiler warning for everything that has happened in GoT so far!

Picks up at the end of season 7 filling in some gaps then will keep going. As much as I can, anyway. Jon/Dany main ship. Read and review. First timer, by the way.

After the Dragonpit Summit, Dany and Jon make their way North heading towards war and revelations. As they explore their new relationship, uneasy alliances and conflict awaits on the road to Winterfell. I envision this as a multi-chapter story. We will be picking up more canon characters along the way. You'll notice that Ghost is in this. Luckily you don't need a CGI budget here.

Ned Stark does not reach the Tower of Joy before Lyanna Stark gives birth. To protect their future king, the three Kingsguard decide to take Jon Targaryen across the Narrow Sea, so he may be raised with his aunt and uncle. They want to get back. But as they learn, Westeros is not easy to reach. And there are other challenges they must face, if they want to return home.
