Let’s see… I was born in Spain, but I am a Texan girl at heart. I’m a college student majoring in education with a minor in Spanish. I’m a die-hard Spurs fan, and I cheered like crazy when Spain won the World Cup! Other than those random facts, I don’t think there’s much that’s interesting about me… I listen to a wide variety of music from Rascal Flatts to Trans Siberian Orchestra to Wicked: The Musical. My favorite TV shows of the season are White Collar, NCIS (both of them!), The Mentalist, and Nikita, though I have recently become addicted to Supernatural and Smallville. As for movies, my newest favorite is Inception (absolutely incredible!), but I also love A Walk to Remember, both Batman films, and Newsies.

When it comes to reading novels, I am not so wide-spread. I mostly read fantasy and romance. My two favorite novels are Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson and The Host by Stephenie Meyer. I used to be an avid Twilight reader before it became overly popular (the movies didn’t help much, either). I also like the classics, such as Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, and Shakespeare. As for fan fiction, I really only read one genre: romance. I’m not talking about trashy storylines that focus on what happens in the bedroom, but those stories that show readers the pain, the emotion, the adventure that comes with love… yep, I’m a hopeless romantic! Of course, there are a few more requirements, such as the tiniest grasp of proper grammar and a wider range of vocabulary than my best friend’s five-year-old sister. However, I love to proofread and am at the moment trying to post enough to become a Beta. It may take a little bit, but better late than never!

I’ve always had an active imagination, so it was a natural transition to go from using Barbies to act out stories with my best friend at the age of ten to trying to write fan fiction now (hey, how were we supposed to know Barbie was made for dress up and not for taking crazy adventures into the mysterious jungle to rescue her boyfriend from the evil sorcerer). Some may not think me a very good writer, but it makes me happy, so I’m going to keep writing anyway!

I have already posted a few one-shots in a Batman setting, but at the moment I am working on a full Batman story. Although it is a Batman/NCIS crossover, I’m writing it so that you need not have seen NCIS. So, I will start posting that soon… hopefully!

I love it when authors find pictures for their characters, so I guess I will try to do the same!

My only new character is Meg Carmichael (or Annie, in the Spanish version, but she'll most likely take the name Meg soon as well), and I found a great picture of Kirsten Dunst that I absolutely love! I wouldn't usually surf that actress’ pictures for avatars, but I was lucky enough to stumble upon this one!
