Athos, Porthos, Aramis and d'Artagnan have experienced a lot in their lifes. They fought, loved, laughed and did so many other things I can't even list them all. When the return home from a mission goes sideways, it's up to D'Artagnan to take care of his brothers. The problem is, who will take care of him?

For some men humans are nothing more than goods, and their lifes a possibility for entertainment. Caught by slave traders, the four musketeers have to fight for their and their brothers lifes in some cruel ways. - The story is not corrected, so please excuse some mistakes. I will correct them once the story is completed.

The first time the lash hit him was a shock. He had expected a little preamble from the men, but they seemed keen to get on with their entertainment. Aramis gasped, pain radiated out from wherever the thin knotted leather straps had struck his back and side. Several more blows were struck across his back in quick succession. He tried not to cry out, but he failed.

He knew he should have followed the order. If he had Aramis wouldn't be lying in the infirmary and he wouldn't be bleeding on his bedroom floor. In which d'Artagnan disobeys an order and the fallout is disastrous.

After the four musketeers don't return from a routine mission, Tréville goes out to investigate. He has to follow the traces, and find out who dared to harm the musketeers, while the musketeers have to risk everything and fight for their survival. What happened to the musketeers, and who is responsible for it?

d'Artagnan wakes, injured and in a strange place...but where are his brothers? Will they ever return for him or have they left him behind? Hurt/comfort, but most of the comfort comes for an OC. I know...sad.

A stolen gemstone causes problems for the Musketeers.

The Musketeers are dispatched on a mission to retrieve a missive from Louis' cousin Eleonora. They are sent to Nice to meet with her messenger and just when it seems like everything will go to plan all Hell breaks lose. Now, with one brother missing and another injured, the Inseparables must choose between loyalty to each other and loyalty to the King. Rated T just to be safe.

'As he reached the edge of the clearing, he had to suppress a gasp. Athos was lying on the ground, clearly wounded, with four men searching through their belongings. A fifth man was holding a gun pointed at Athos who was clutching his leg with one hand and holding the other out to show he had no intention of trying to fight the men.' A simple mission gets complicated.

Aramis is sought by a man looking for revenge. When d'Artagnan is taken instead, due to a case of mistaken identity, the others have to search for him, before it is too late.

Two men grabbed him from behind. Aramis could not escape them. Athos took a couple of steps forwards but was pushed back by another man. When Athos tried to punch the man, he was grabbed and hit on the back of the head with the handle of a billhook. Athos crumpled, if he were not being held up by two men he would have crashed to the ground.

Wounded and on the run, the musketeers seek shelter in a dark place on the longest night of the year. An entry for the January Fete des Mousquetaires contest with the theme "Light."

Sequel to Sleight of Hand. D'artagnan is allowed out on his first mission since Vadim, but poor weather conditions combined with a cold mean things quickly take a turn for the worse. Reviews are always welcome- feel free to leave some constructive criticism!

The four are captured by bandits, Aramis is injured and d'Artagnan is getting some unwelcome attention. They have their work cut out as they try to escape.

They were just about done with dinner when the first shot rang through the night. d'Artagnan ducked more out of instinct than anything else, throwing himself down next to half a rotten wall on the south side of the barn. He didn't even know which direction the shot had originated from, just that staying out in the open was a bad idea. "Anyone hit?", he asked.

d'Artagnan stated, "It's not the fall that's the problem, but the landings that you have to watch out for."

Although the bond between Athos and d'Artagnan is strong - no one could have guessed the absolute depth of their connection. Will that connection prove powerful enough to save them both? Now up, the final chapter! I hope you enjoy these alternate conclusions of episodes 1 - 5 from season two!

His friends have no idea where to even start looking for them, when they both go missing. Featuring Mademoiselle Marie, who is now selling signed autograph cards.

It's early winter in the south of France. Athos and Porthos find themselves stuck in a swamp while trying to rescue their horses from bandits who may or may not be simple horse thieves. Aramis and d'Artagnan stand a valiant defense of their mired friends and all of them pay with various levels of injury and regret. -Complete.

"Your only job is to survive." Athos' voice caught on the last word and d'Artagnan could feel the amount of fear the man held for him. He could not deny his friend so he gave a shaky nod, promising himself that he would survive for as long as possible, the only question being, would it be enough?

The Musketeers are on a dangerous mission to escort a decoy king. The mission is cursed from the beginning as each of the four Musketeers are embroiled in a fight for their very survival. None make it through this mission from hell unscathed; it will forever be etched in their memories as the worst mission ever-as it may have dire and deadly consequences! Tissue Warning: Death Fic

d'Artagnan's future as a musketeer is in question after an accident on a simple mission.

He pulled himself onto the mount and wheeled it around, the three men moving away to give him room. Without a backward glance, he kicked the horse into motion, making his way out of the woods and on his way to being a fugitive.

"D'Artagnan," King Louis said, "it has come to our attention that your recent, dangerous gamble with our lives is the result of your youthful inexperience and that you may benefit from some additional training." Slight spoilers for 2.06 Through a Glass Darkly.

When something happens the Musketeers think D'artagnan betrayed them and he leaves...but did he?

As he rode out of Paris, tears once more clouding his vision and despair pooling in his belly, he couldn't help but wonder at how easily he seemed to have been cast aside.

In the aftermath of a mission gone wrong, Athos blames himself. Despite all evidence showing that d'Artagnan is lost, he refuses to believe that. He simply cannot allow himself to rest until he knows for sure, one way or the other.

This is a whump D'Artagnan and add a bit of Porthos whump fic. Lots of H/C. Lots of angst. Basically D'Artagnan and Porthos have to play their parts to save the King and things don't go as planned and whump and angst and H/C ensue. And lots and lots of brotherhood.

Athos keeps saying his name as though hoping to call him back from the dead before he has even joined them. So far, it seems to be working.

Athos was lost for words. "I don't know," he finally confessed in a small voice. "What I do know is that you've triumphed before and will do so again. It will just take time." "I don't know if I can," d'Artagnan admitted, head dropping back to lay on his mentor's shoulder. "Sometimes what's broken can never be fixed," he mumbled.

Athos has been watching d'Artagnan slip away for hours now and he still doesn't know anything about a possible war with Spain.

Set S1, between episodes 3, Commodities, and 4, Good Soldier. A voluntary mission turns d'Artagnan from a wayward recruit into a Musketeer in all but name. However, first things go very, very wrong. As they do. And the men are pushed to their limits to keep their brotherhood intact.

D'Artagnan runs into unexpected trouble on his way back from Gascony. Well, Athos may have expected it. And Treville. My attempt to explain the depth of the musketeers' brotherhood, especially when they think they may lose one of their own.
