Someone is stopping Kaneki before he leaves for Aogiri... There's some drama and lemon mixed in to flavor the story as well. As a side note: My greatest complaint with some of the writing is finding a work-around the Out-Of-Character issue. Because I can't portray exactly how each character will react in a different context without turning most of it into a complete copy pasta.
