Set directly following the final episode of season four, this tells the continuing story of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson. John and Rosie move into 221B, Sherlock and John are still coming to terms with everything that has happened and discover that they need each other more than ever. Sherlock/John, slow build friendship to romance.

Sherlock gets sick, not 'he'll recover in a few days' sick, but hospitalised for a long time sick. His friends are all there to help him but he is Sherlock, he doesn't want or need their help. A continuation of a work written (and unfinished) by gemstone1234

When John notices Sherlock's missing from the ceremony, he heads back to Baker Street to find a broken up Sherlock playing his and Marys waltz. J/S.

John finds Sherlock three years after he thought he'd buried him, scared and injured; broken to such an extent he can barely recognise those trying to help him. Battling against too many unanswered questions and his own feelings, John sets out to put him back together, but never stops to consider Sherlock's return may be part of a greater punishment in store for the both of them.

Sherlock gets food poisoning while John is away and it's up to Mycroft to take care of his little brother. In the process, confessions will be made and Sherlock will learn that caring is not always a disadvantage. not slash lots of H/C, family-fluff.
