- My fanfiction usually follows canon to a degree, but it does veer off every now and then, because it's... drumroll please... FANFICTION. If you want something that adheres strictly to canon, I suggest sticking to the actual novels/films/etc. So far, my stories are based on the Harry Potter series. I usually write about the Marauder Era, because it's not as confining, but even then, I still like to play with the details a bit.

Update October 2018 - my work and family has made it nearly impossible to find time for this story. I wish I could just give you a window into my mind, as it's all finished there! Maybe someday... thanks for reading. :)

To the guest who asked if I copied names from another story - Bertram, Caradoc, Mary, Alice, etc. etc. etc. are all canon names. I checked out the story you mentioned and can assure you I have never read it, but now I've skimmed it rather quickly, and there were no name similarities besides CANON characters, which appear in all Marauders stories to a degree. Please be careful before you make accusations of such nature.
