About Me: (It's really none of you business, but one has to put something on these profiles) I am a young LEGO and game enthusiast, but also an avid reader and unofficial student of literature. My favorite authors include everyone from Arthur Conan Doyle, Charles Dickens, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Wilkie Collins and P.G. Wodehouse to J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Forester, C.S. Lewis, Isaac Asimov and many, many more. I aspire to become a part-time writer and attempt to recapture the "old" way of writing, rather than the shallow contemporary fashion which is so prevalent nowadays. While I have many original stories cogitating in my brain or on paper, I prefer to write fanfiction when I wish to work for pure enjoyment. The standards I hold my composition to are lower for this, and as such more conducive to relaxation.

Miscellaneous Disclaimers/Harsh stuff/Fanfiction Philosophy

I make no guarantee to update on any regular schedule. Positive reactions to my work in the form of reviews etc. might motivate me to spend more time on a particular story, but I have many in progress at once, and I have no intention of ruining them by rushing them towards some imaginary deadline. Instead I will spend as much time proofreading and re-drafting my work, at my own pace and time, as I feel necessary. I am writing primarily for my own enjoyment here, and only publishing stories (which I would be writing anyway) as an extra. So be patient. (I also prefer quality over quantity, so keep that in mind).

I do not support of approve of Yaoi/Yuri (as they call it--this is a euphemism in my opinion) or any other obscene or otherwise offensive language or content. This does not mean I refuse to review any story which contains coarse language (though I will probably ignore yaoi/yuri ones). I do not approve of it, and I will never use exceptionally "strong" language in my work (occasional mild or moderate profanity in the interests of realism/accuracy I will condone), but mostly I will ignore it (I do watch Red Vs Blue after all, I am very good at ignoring it). Bottom line--I am a Christian and will regulate my conduct as such.

I will not take any notice of any abusive material anyone might feel like throwing at me for any reason. Any "flamers" had better save their strength and pick on someone who at least cares a little what they say. I will also not take an notice of reviews begging for story elements to be changed. As stated above, I write for my own enjoyment first, and sharing my stories here is only extra motivation/afterthought and perhaps--just perhaps--a little urge to show off by publishing my work. I apologize if this sounds harsh, but anyone who has been around this site for any length of time will understand what some authors have to deal with.
