The Catalyst is nearing its end. It's going to be a couple of more chapters. I'm hoping to finish it before sixteenth of next month as it marks the two year anniversary for the story. I'm planning for a sequel named 'The watcher's crypt' which will pickup events right after the end of the Catalyst. I am also planning for a third arc of the storyline but it depends on how the second one is received.

But before I begin with the next arc, I will try to finish some of my other unfinished stories (like 'The Chaos Theory') before the year ends.

I have graduated :-) Although I've been working full time for past ten months or so, Now I should have more time on my hands to post update a little bit faster.

I have been offered a full time job and I must complete my studies by beginning of fall. As a result all my stories are currently on hold. Rest assured, I will not abandon any of my stories. Yet it might take a few months for me to begin writing again. I apologize for the inconvenience but there isn't much I can do about it. Thanks for understanding and I hope you guys won't loose interest in my stories and continue to follow them when I resume writing.

My favorite shows include Charmed, Merlin, NCIS, Wings, I dream of Jeannie, Numb3rs, Frasier among others.

Charmed is so far one of my favorite shows and Chris is, of course, my favorite character. When I watched the season six finale the first time, I had sincerely hoped that the elders would do the right thing and send Chris back as a full time white-lighter. Unfortunately they screwed up and Chris returned for just two episodes, that too as a guest.

After I accidentally discovered FanFiction.net, I went through the whole archive searching for stories about my favorite Halliwell brothers (I haven’t read them all yet but I’m working on it). It is essentially a getaway for me from the harsh realities of everyday life.

Short introduction to my stories:

Finally I decided to write a story of my own. “The Catalyst” is my first story. It was going to be a relatively short, “M” rated story with about 7-8 chapters and about 11,000 to 12,000 words in total. After I finished the first chapter (which turned out to be about 10,000 words to begin with) I decided to make it a much more detailed “T” rated story that is suitable for a larger group of readers. I always felt that the people responsible to shape Chris's character cheated by not giving him enough powers. He is the son of the Halliwell matriarch and an elder for goodness' sake. So I decided to write a story that would do justice to my favorite character. "The Catalyst" tries to stick to the original story as much as possible while describing Chris's destiny to constitute the ultimate power with his brother.

"The Watcher's Crypt" is a sequel to “The Catalyst”. If you haven't read “The Catalyst” (or if you have simply forgotten the story), this story won't make much sense. In future, I may add a short summary of “The Catalyst” in the introductory chapter but in the meanwhile, I encourage my new readers to read “The Catalyst” first, before moving on to "The Watcher's Crypt". This story is a second arc in a trilogy and it chronicles the family's attempts at regaining all they've lost in the first arc and prepare for the ultimate battle ahead.

“Happy birthday!” formerly known as “Birthday surprise” was going to be a fluffy one-shot. But then I decided to make it a collection of independent stories about birthdays in the Halliwell family.

“The Last Straw” is the first story I’ve written that is set in the unchanged future. It’s a one-shot about Leo’s thoughts and his last meeting with Chris before he left for the past. If Chris had failed in saving his brother, this would have been the last time Leo ever saw his youngest son.

"Wuvey" is just a fluffy one-shot. The idea struck me while I was working on "The Catalyst" and I couldn't help but share it.

"Pwaymates" is another one-shot that explores Chris and Wyatt's relationship. This is after Piper has learned Chris's true identity and thus has gained one of the most trusted babysitters.

"Chaos Theory" is a relatively short story that happens in two alternate timelines. It explores the possibility that may be the charmed one's fate had little to do with Chris's relentless demon hunts in the past and that an insignificant incident that happened on Chris's fourteenth birthday may trigger a chain of events that may culminate into a tragedy.

"Kittens" is a one-shot that explains how Chris got his nickname. I plan to extend this story by making it a series of one-shots about nicknames in the Halliwell family, not quite unlike “Happy birthday!”

"Sweet and ASAP" is a series of one-shots where Chris and Wyatt talk about trivial things. There is no complex plot involved in this series and I will entertain (to the best of my ability) any prompts I receive in the reviews. The idea came to me as I witnessed two of my closest friends (who are also brothers) bickering, while sharing a cup of coffee.

Introduction to my characters:

Arrazigal (Ben Seton)( : He is the leader of the angels of destiny. Also known as 'the scion of balance'. He is not purely good or evil and his job is to maintain balance between the two. He is, by far, the most powerful being in my stories. He claims Chris has a greater destiny and that he's there to help him achieve it. He claims that Chris and Wyatt are destined to fight in an epic battle that will decide the fate of the world.

Catherine Psarra (Cobie Smulders)( : She is a beautiful girl who seems to be interested in Chris. She has managed to arouse suspicions about herself in the Halliwell family but her real motive is unclear, yet. Halliwells dont yet know if she is magical.

Aaron Adam Johnson (Steve Sandvoss)( : He's Chris's rommie and (his only) best friend outside the family. He's a mortal and as of now has no knowledge of the existence of the magical community.

Carver Julian Miller (Luke McFarlane)( : He's Wyatt's boyfriend. He lives with Wyatt at their apartment not far from the manor. After Wyatt and Carver got together, the Halliwells welcomed him in the family with open arms. He's a telepath.

Evan Allen Miller (David Monahan)( : Evan is Carver's brother. He moved away for higher education and has recently returned to San Francisco. He's an empath. He is currently in a relationship with Patricia Piper Halliwell, Paige's daughter.

Daniel Gregory Walker (Jonathan Rhys Meyers)( : Dan is half human and half manticore (the baby sisters saved in 'Little Monsters') and is best friends with Wyatt and Chris. He can shimmer, throw energy balls and can use 'manticore screech' to stun his opponents. He is fiercely protective of his little sister, Ella.

Ella Josephine Walker (Mia Kunis)( : She's Dan's sister. She's part dragon from her mother's side and part mortal from her father's side. Due to her lineage, she has excellent command over fire.

Niles (Freddie Smith)( : Niles is another mysterious stranger. He claims to be from a place beyond time and calls himself 'the watcher's disciple'. He acts much like Chris form the dark future, a bit dark, stubborn and sarcastic. Although seems to care about the Halliwells, at times, he can be a bit ruthless and unforgiving. Halliwells don't yet know if he's a friend or a foe and as such do not completely trust him yet. Introduced in 'The Catalyst', Niles will have a more important role to play in the sequel.

The Watcher : Not much is known about this character. Only one who claims his existence at the moment is Niles. Niles depicts him like a kind of a guardian angel for the entire Halliwell family. He, like Niles, will have a prominent role to play in the upcoming sequel.
