Mirkwood is in desperate need and their choices of help are limited. Elrond, though the preferred answer, is out of reach and can offer no aid. That leaves only one person, Aragorn.

Elizabeth was a young woman thrown into the middle of a rebellion she did not understand at all. When she runs away from her intended, she becomes acquainted with Captain Black Jack Randall who is holding another prisoner who has angered him prisoner. The girl suffers much at his hands, but then finds that the other prisoner, Jamie, is not blackhearted and wants to help her.

Scarlett and Rhett have one more confrontation before Bonnie's funeral.

Story begins with the sailboat accident in SCARLETT then becomes a work that has little to do with the aforementioned novel. No one goes to Ireland, action primarily in Charleston and Atlanta.

He'd faced a Balrog on the cliffs of the Cristhorn. At least then he had had a sword, and, at the time, no particular need to live beyond that moment. Glorfindel returns to Middle-earth and journeys to find the one who might bring him absolution.
